Self care is imagining Dean and Cas watching comfort movies together

They're comfy and cozy and snuggled under a blanket watching garbage movies - the So Bad It's Good kind - ones that Dean has watched a million times and can quote by heart. He keeps leaning over and whispering little asides and commentary about what's happening.

Cas is wearing one of Dean's old band t-shirts and he's all soft and his eyebrows keep scrunching together when he asks Dean to explain the plot to him again. (He knows more than he lets on, he just enjoys Dean leaning into his space.)

i absolutely do believe btw that sam 1) is a functional alcoholic and 2) has absolutely no idea because his baseline is insane. like because he doesn't literally need to have a beer in the cupholder during a six hour drive in order not to get sick it does not occur to him as a problem. he drinks his five to six beers plus maybe three fingers of whiskey every night and like, he's a big guy, that's less for him than it would be for most people and i do believe that unlike dean (or, years ago, john) he is not literally drunk most of the time, but it's still enough that if he went without for a few days he would start getting the shakes
