The Reaper Prince || Junsu & Suzy
Junsu couldn’t deny that she intrigued him in more ways than one. Being born in Eulsa, having seen and met “special” people more than once and being one himself made him a believer by default. If someone were to ask him if he believed in the supernatural or in angels, demons, souls and what not, his immediate answer would be positive but careful as to remain as politically correct as possible. He knew that Eulsa had always been a city that despite their mystic surroundings and people, had a history of rulers that were never very fond of what wasn’t normal and despite the fact that things were changing, there was still too much to be done. To have a ruler that believed in equality was a new thing and he could see positive signs, but for that to happen, he needed to know his people and Suzy was one of them now – theoretically.
He was careful not to show her any signs of hostility, of course, because for starters, he wasn’t exactly hostile – not on a daily basis at least – and because she didn’t seem like she would be too dangerous but her aura told him otherwise. There was something different in her, he knew it, and while he didn’t know exactly what it was, he knew it wasn’t human for no human being made him feel that close to another being by feeling their energy alone. Whatever she was, it had to be something he was very familiar with so he did what he had to and scanned her, questioned her in a polite way and made sure to mask his own energy and keep it to a minimum so that he gave her no hints about himself. He nodded slowly, confirming her question. “Exactly.” He mentioned “People around here believe the impossible as others would call it. Having people come back to life in a miraculous and undisclosed way is not as strange as you might think for people who believe in such things. Eulsa is a city that lives off its own mystique and a lot of its inhabitants are actually people with abilities far beyond the ordinary. However, there are also those who are skeptic or just don’t want to be involved with such things.” He said, keeping his position for a bit longer before he decided to lean back against the back of his chair. Junsu waited impatiently for the words that were about to leave the girl’s lips and as they did, he didn’t allow himself to be too impressed or even remotely reticent about the information he was acquiring. Contrary to it, he was even more curious and genuinely interested in that girl now, or the being inside the young Miss Bae’s body at least. “A nephalem? I know what they are.” He spat immediately, giving the girl a genuine smile. “The symbol of a forbidden connection, something that according to the divine laws, should never happen and sometimes seen as a sign of treason or unwilling devotion among other things.” Casting away all possible ideas or conceptions about the girl aside, the prince relaxed on his spot, somehow feeling exceptionally light and marveled. After all it was not every day that he has the chance to find someone who was so close to what he was – in a way. “If I tell you, will you keep it a secret?” He inquired, still giving that one simple smile to the girl sitting across from him. Honestly, he didn’t need confirmation; he knew that she wouldn’t tell anything to a single person if he was to ask her for secrecy because one: she didn’t have anyone to tell and second: it wasn’t in her nature. “I’m an dark angel; a death angel, to be more precise, so I know about the realm you were talking about because part of me comes from that exact same place. Welcome to the mortal realm, Miss. I am a little curious, so maybe you can indulge me and tell me your name? Your real name, that is.”
Suzy was okay with the man’s wandering eyes. She knew there was nothing obscene about it, he was studying her just as much as she was studying him. She couldn’t blame him, really. She was sure that to most people of this realm, she must have seemed a little strange. It was a rare occasion that she was self-aware such as that, though at times she wa reminded of just how inhuman she actually was.
She listened to his speech of the people of Eulsa and their superstitions. She was indeed a supernatural entity and she was certainly interested when he spoke of others with said abilities. “Do these people live in the open? Are they ogled and scrutinized as I have been since I was found in that mine?” she asked, wondering if everyone that was deemed “special” went through the same process as she was going through currently. It didn’t matter to her and her words took on no form of anger or spite, they were just simple questions that were to be taken at face value. Eulsa certainly seemed like an interesting place as far as she was concerned, especially when hearing it from the city’s prince. “You are a gifted orator. I’m sure many would love to hear your tales.”
Suzy waited for a reaction from Junsu as far as her heritage was concerned, but just as she rarely had any extra emotion, he did not show surprise or wonderment as she had expected from him. It was rather refreshing not to get odd looks when she spoke and instead get back a knowing look. When he stated that he was quite aware what she was, what she had spoken of, she nodded. “Yes. That is correct. My parents...my real parents...took a great risk in bringing me to this realm.” She tilted her head at his smile, feeling a bit perplexed as to what that particular sentiment was. She supposed she’d just have to learn about it the more she was around in this realm. “I was marked for death or servitude if I remained on the Ethereal Realm. They placed me in this vessel in hopes that I would be able to survive. I most certainly hope not to disappoint them.”
At his relaxed state, Suzy felt even less in danger, his request to keep his true ability a secret was met by her ears and though her face remained unchanged, she answered. “Of course.” She would have no reason to tell anyone anything. If she did, in fact, she’d just be putting herself in greater danger. She knew the importance of secrets at the very least, even if she didn’t quite understand most human nature at this point.
“A death angel?” If Suzy knew how to be, she would be impressed. She had never met one of those in her time in the Ethereal Realm, so to meet one on Earth Realm was quite a thing unto itself. When he asked her name, her real name, her eyes went black and her normally blank expression turned into a grin as her demonic side came out for a moment, though still no sign of malice or intent towards the Prince. A chuckle escaped her throat, the voice sounding like there were ten or more people talking in a deep unison. “Now, now...you know just as well as I do that gaining knowledge of a demon’s real name gives you the power of dominion over it, Prince. So, even with how cooperative we are right now, that’s one piece of information you’ll have to do without, sorry.” And just like that, her eyes returned to normal, the grin gone and she was back to her normal self again.
Step || Jessica & Suzy
jessica might have been the slightest bit drunk. normally she could hold her liquor, but on this particular night it had been a long shot to do so. heukyang was known for its flashy night life, and that evening jessica had found herself indulging in its vices just like everyone else. one glass of wine led to two, which led to four, which led to six …the rest was history. her favorite casino had half off on her favorite brand. needless to say, she had no second thoughts in wasting the night away in the wonderful guilty pleasure of fine wine and wasting cash to win cash.
a notion that was not practiced very often, sometimes jessica forgot the immense toll that ingesting such copious amounts of alcohol on her body had. she needed air — she needed air or else she would throw up and she really didn’t want to throw up because if that were the case then she’d be wasting all that money she’d spent on the wine she’d purchased. so, the woman, clad in a red dress with dark chestnut hair luxuriously curled, made her way up the casino stairs before coming to the exit — the exit leading onto the roof.
she’d assumed herself to have been given a space to be alone, but before the presumption could be set in stone, she noticed a girl standing precariously on the ledge of the building. with an inebriated mind, jessica scratched her head. it didn’t phase her at first, but before not too long the supposed reality of the situation hit her, or one that made sense under the influence. “hey you!” she called, taking a wobbly step forward. “you should get away from there, you might fall. suicide isn’t the answer, you know. you have so much to live for, there’s so many pretty girls out there.”
There was entirely zero chance that Suzy would get hurt at all from being up there on the ledge of the building, but of course, the stranger interrupting her quiet contemplating time didn't know this and Suzy of course did not understand the other woman's need to protect her from something that she was not in any danger of. If somehow she fell, she could always pop her wings and fly, or use her teleportation to land somewhere safely. She was in no peril what so ever. She could even fall to the street, crashing into the pavement below, and with her regeneration, she'd be fine in a matter of minutes.
The nephalem turned, still perched on the ledge, which of course to anyone who didn't know better, would look like potentially the most dangerous thing that someone in Suzy's current position could possibly do. She tilted her head, studying the woman that had suddenly appeared on the rooftop with her. "Suicide?" she repeated. She was not sure why the woman was blabbing about her trying to kill herself. It wasn't as though she had a a weapon of some sort visible. The thought never once crossed her mind that the drunk woman meant that she looked like she was going to jump. "Pretty girls? I am not sure I understand any of the things you are a saying at this moment." she said, her facial expression not changing at all when she talked, aside from her lips moving.
From the looks off the woman, and the scent of the alcohol on her breath, Suzy could tell that she seemed to be inebriated. "Should you be up here in your current state?" she asked, not actually concerned for the woman's well being, as she was sure there were plenty of humans who were already meant to die in accidents. It was just a normal human thing for her to ask.

It Takes a Monster to Fight a Monster || Event || Suzy
As people shuttled towards the portals, talking about the different abominations they were going to go take care of, Suzy noticed two things. First, no one had given the order for the guards to go with the Aces as backup, and secondly, no one had claimed the monster spotted in Inju. She remembered a shaky camera capturing the huge being, shaped like a man with a bull’s head, dripping with a slimy substance, which from the reports, sounded like if a person somehow got it inside, it would poison them, leading them to an untimely death. The beast carried two large axes, several hundred pounds each. Suzy could only think that these axes must have been something those doing the experiments had on hand for their test subjects to use, as they did not appear to be a natural weapon of the victim.
Once she was sure there was no announcement saying the guards had to stay put or go with the Aces, she decided to try her hand at taking down that particular being. She used her own ability to teleport there, the silence of her room broken by the sound of her black wings as she activated it, and moments later, she found herself in the streets of Inju, surrounded by people running around. A few were screaming, some more were crying, others were yelling about the end of the world. She made her way through the throng and towards the source of the panic. She saw a few men trying to fight off the beast, which seemed to respond negatively to a few reporters who were bold enough to take flash photography of it, causing it to lumber off into a nearby swamp, seeming to disappear into the boggy scenery. She made her way towards the edge of the swamp, only to be stopped by two armed members of government personnel.
“You can’t go in there miss.” the shorter of the two stated, holding up a hand to stop her. She looked at the hand, then up at the man, her blank expression still not changing. Being a nephalem, Suzy inherently had the same enhanced strength that both of her parents, an angel and a demon, had. In one swift motion, she grabbed the man’s arm, yanking it out of it’s socket. She then proceeded, as the other government agent pulled his gun on her, to move the first man in front of her as a human shield to stop his first shot, then swinging the now limp body into the other man hard enough to knock him out as well. Her expression never changed once, only one strand of hair came loose and she proceeded to tuck it behind her ear and venture into the swamp, no words uttered.
It wouldn’t be hard to imagine the weird looks this girl in the plain white dress was getting as she began to wade into the boggy waters of the swamp, not at all concerned for her image, or what might be lurking in the mud. The curious onlooker, those that were left after a monster attack and the proceeding gunshots. The creature couldn’t have gotten very far, she thought, as she had seen it escape through the murk. What she didn’t know, was that the lumbering monstrosity was more than okay with being in the swamp. And it now, as she had moved out of eyesight of the onlookers, had her exactly where it wanted her. Without any sort of warning that Suzy could tell, a tendril made of plant material, mud, and anything else you’d find on the bottom of the swamp, darted undetected through the water, gripping Suzy by the ankle, taking the girl by surprise, pulling her under the muddy water. Thrashing to get away, Suzy attempted to grab the tendril to loosen it’s grip on her, but it was pulling her too fast. She was able to get her head above water long enough to see the mutated monster with an arm raised, ready to strike with one of it’s gigantic axes once she got close enough. In this prone state, that axe would cut her right down the middle. She had to do something. She hated to use her teleportation for anything but travel, but she had no choice. Her wings extended, and in a moment, she was away from the tendril, barely avoiding the axe that came down. She hopped up to her feet, throwing a punch into the torso of the being, only to find that her hand got stuck in it. Surprisingly enough the outer part of the mutant appeared to be comprised of the swamp itself. Yet again, she found herself in danger as the oozing slime that was said to be poison was starting to drip, dangerously close to some of the scratches that she had just acquired from her being dragged through the marsh. She was about to teleport away when the brute decided he’d help her get loose instead, smashing a fist into her, sending her flying through the air, slamming into a tree hard, her body slumping into the dirty water. After a moment, her body kickstarted itself, and her eyes popped open under the water. She decided enough was enough. She was going to do something that she normally tried not to do. She was going to let her other side, her demon side, take over.
Emerging from the water again, those who knew Suzy would not recognize her. Her muddied hair clung damp to her face, her formerly white dress, caked with the dirt and decaying plant matter, was soaked as well. But the thing that if someone who knew her would notice the most? Her normally stoic, unchanging expression face was smiling, though that of itself would not be an apt description. It was more of a grin. A sadistic grin. Her eyes, once innocent and full of life were now pitch black, and twisted to match her grin. She finally spoke. Her voice sounding deep and dark and almost like a chorus of fifty demons were speaking through her. “This ends now.” She couldn’t have cared less at the fact that the bull-headed thing in front of her couldn’t understand what she said, all she wanted to do was to see it suffer. Calling upon her ability that she could only access via her demon side, Suzy unleashed her attack, sending a ball of Hellfire towards the monster, just narrowly missing it and lighting a tree ablaze behind it. The sudden illumination of the tree seemed to spook the creature, making her smirk.
“Oh...you don’t like light, huh?” she asked sarcastically as she recalled how it reacted to the reporter’s flashbulbs. It made a move to try to get away from the fire, but she just lobbed more at the tree next to it, causing it to panic more. Thinking this natural fire, it tried in vain to use it’s Swamp Physiology to try and put out the flames using swamp water, but Hellfire, of course is supernatural and the flames persisted. The mutant really did not seem to like this one bit, which caused a slight cackle to escape Suzy’s lips. “Something wrong?” she asked in a mocking tone, lifting her arms only to drop them, causing a ring of Hellfire to erupt around them in a circle, causing the creature to pace around, almost like a caged animal. It was swinging wildly with it’s axes, acting out of instinct, thinking it would just cut it’s way out of the fire. This of course would not do if she were to take him down. “Scaring you apparently won’t be enough. I’ll have to burn it out of you.” with that, she began aiming her blasts of fire at the mutant, catching the plant material that was growing out of it, as well as the poisonous slime on it, on fire. More and more trees in the swamp began to burn as she continued, the Hellfire spreading. The mutant, in a last ditch effort to stop her, charged, slamming it’s axe into the ground as she swiftly maneuvered away from the slow attack. As she did, she noticed that in the spots where the fire had burned away flesh, you could see bits and pieces of a second layer of skin underneath. The original mutant.
Gritting her teeth, letting out an inhuman growl, Suzy let forth a fiery explosion that jettisoned from the ground underneath the mutant, which let out a horrifying sound of pure pain and anguish as the Hellfire ate away at it’s flesh. Overcome with the torture of being burned alive, the monster fell to it’s knees, sinking into the swamp water. Suzy, with her pitch black demonic eyes surveyed the spot, seeing that her plan had worked. The outer swampy layer of flesh that had been hiding the test subject had burned away, the mental anguish of the whole ordeal leaving the original mutant unconscious. She reached into the water to pull them out, holding them up in front of her. They were burned, though not nearly as bad as they could have been, and they were still breathing. The demon side of her brain was attempting to think of other things that she could possibly do to punish this individual, but then she paused, closing her eyes tightly, shaking her head, pushing the urges down. When she opened her eyes again, her features were normal once again, eyes back to their usual brown, her expression back to being it’s stoic normality. Taking one last look at the destruction she had caused, with quite a few trees on fire, their flickering flames the only illumination in the night, she held onto the other person, and teleported back to base to the holding cells, not daring to attempt healing the person from their burns just yet, in case the tampering of their DNA was triggered again.
Brotherhood Alert via Intercom: An intruder has infiltrated the research laboratory and stole valuable resources containing information about the MGH (mutant growth hormone). The base has been kept on a 24 hour lockdown to identify the spy. Brotherhood terrorists and aces are allowed to leave the perimeters but are assigned to assassinate any third party associated with the MGH. Researchers will gather and contain any material that has not been tampered with. The intruder must be found.
-looks up at the sudden intrusion of a voice she did not recall hearing before this point, staring up at the speaker as it talks about mutant growth hormone and the such, wondering what exactly has been going on; doubts the base would be able to keep her from using her teleportation to leave, but she is nothing but a good soldier and will do what is asked of her-

Mating Dances of the Human Species || Boa & Suzy
(/the stranger strikes her as someone highly unfamiliar with either Musa’s culture or even the entire human culture – wonders how that could even be possible, considering the girl’s appearance, but one thought that crosses her mind would be able to explain the other’s cluelessness) Are you– by any chance, are you a mutant? It’s not every day that people talk about spirits. Actually, people don’t talk about such things (/scratches the back of her head, unsure of her hypothesis) But to tell you, humans don’t do courtship that way. No mating dances. This is just entertainment. It’s for fun and for exercising (/slides her hands down her face in exasperation – the type of questions she’ll have to answer to will certainly cause a nasty headache) Humans don’t… choose a partner to necessarily procreate. It’s more about love (/proceeds to blink at her, confusion once more evident on her features) Don’t you know this place? You’re in Musa U, also known as Musa University. It’s an art school, where we don’t actually mate. We study here.
-she continues to look around at the reflections, almost as if she might be worried that they might attempt to trap her within them, she looks over at the other when she asks about if she is a mutant, even more interested in her now- Do I not present myself as human? What have I done to make you think otherwise? -she tilted her head, studying the other woman for a moment, almost as if she was the strange one- They do not? Spirits are not something to be taken lightly, you know? They can bring forth stronger entities. -continues to look at the other woman, expression unchanged- No mating dances...entertainment? -she wasn't sure she quite understood the term, as she wouldn't really recognize it if she saw it- Love...-says this word slowly as she shakes her head, again not grasping the concept- The object to mating is to reproduce, is it not? -shakes head head again- Study? I do that. At home. Not at a University...-looks around- This is much too small to encompass all the knowledges of the universe. And what of the other realms?
Mating Dances of the Human Species || Boa & Suzy
(/keeps her pose as the music comes to an interlude and is right about to pick up the choreography within the next set of eight counts, but is interrupted by a girl making her way inside her haven - frowns at the new reflection in the mirror before turning around to her - opens her mouth to speak, however the other is faster and starts questioning her about her location - the frown turns into a quirked eyebrow and annoyance is replaced by confusion) We don’t- is that a serious question? You just came in the middle of my routine, which is not called courtship. Humans don’t do mating dances (/rolls her eyes, though they fix the brunette once more) Are you a student at Musa U?
-is looking around at the many reflections caused by the mirror in the dance studio, pausing for a moment- Are you not afraid of trapping multiple spirits in here? -taking notice of the frown of the other woman, though she doesn't quite grasp the concept that she had interrupted something that she shouldn't have, looks back at the woman when she speaks, her head tilted to the side, listening- Yes. It is a serious question. I viewed an educational program on the television box that informed the public of mating rituals of the world. -did not mention that it was just about animals- No mating dances? -tries to wrap her head around that- How does one choose which partner is the more dominant in order to procreate? -asks still completely serious- What is a Musa you? Is that something having to do with mating? I am not a student of mating, just curious about it.
Step || Jessica & Suzy
In the scheme of things, Suzy knew that each life that was down on the street below, didn't mean much, or so it had seemed when she first came to this Earth Realm. The Nephalem was not equipped with the human's emotions, their desires, though through careful observation, she was picking up why they desired their self-preservation. Each person hd their own group of people, most of the time, like themselves, that they surrounded themselves with. They formed bonds and they were able to express feelings, wants, desires with one another.
Standing on the ledge of one of the taller buildings in Heukyang, Suzy surveyed the people milling about the streets. She still had yet to gain any emotions of her own, she only had one or two connections, but they were always busy, so she didn't get to interact with them, and in fact, she wasn't even technically a mutant, yet she was in the Brotherhood of Mutants. It was at this moment, she realized just how alone she was in this Realm.
[MINI-EVENT] JUST GO WITH IT!
I’m sure most of you are familiar with this event, but for those who aren’t, let’s go over some simple rules to enjoy this fast-paced but very entertaining mini-event! Basically, for a given time, every character is free to send plot scenarios to another character. For example, even if Jongin and Jiyeon have never interacted before, if Jongin sends Jiyeon a script scenario that plays out Jongin being Jiyeon’s long-lost brother, then Jiyeon has to play along! You can keep sending each other asks but it’s preferred you don’t move it to an actual roleplay unless you and the other mun decides it’s a great plot to go with! Obviously, this event is to help new characters get assimilated and encourage more character development and interactions.
However, try not to be too crazy with your scenarios, though. They have to make sense, first of all. It’s also common courtesy to send as many scenarios as you receive to keep the event alive! The scenarios also cannot contain any inappropriate content (like the middle of a sex scene or something); other than that, there are no rules! Reblog this post if you are participating!
Just go with it!

Sexual Healing || Mon & Suzy
Mon wondered for a brief moment something that he hadn’t even bothered to consider before. What did the angels know about the Seven Sins? Of course, he was almost certain there would be rumors floating about at how seven of heaven’s own had turned against the Lord. There would be tales for seraphs and angels alike. There would be old stories created and welded to scare the other angels into keeping themselves far from sin. They would all be demonized for what they had done wrong, and not one person would ever even stop to consider why they did it. When the young angels would ask, the elders would only reply, ‘They only have malicious intents, and have turned against God’s will.’
That was the exact reason why Mon wasn’t entirely thrilled to go back to Heaven. Sure, he absolutely despised being a human, constantly living and dying over and over and over again… but going back up to heaven and being shouted at and completely shunned like the outcast he was? Well, he didn’t entirely like that thought either. Weighing the pros and cons of both… well, as long as he had his brothers around, he would be able to maintain some sort of sanity. If he was somehow able to make it through those gates with them, well… that would be the most ideal situation. But honestly, he never really considered it so deeply like this. Now that he did, his longing for his brothers only intensified, a sinking feeling pressing at his abdomen.
A little breath escaped as he began experimentally moving his now fully healed arm. He watched the girl, a bit of his own curiosity begining to peak, but he chose to keep silent about it. Why would meeting him, an outcast, be an honor to her? Perhaps she had somehow idolized the Sins, or maybe she herself had sinned and was furthermore cast from the heavens. She seemed to think of him as some kind of higher being, and if he was Pride he would totally be sinking it all in like a sponge. He wasn’t Pride though, and he didn’t entirely know how he should react to such a foreign situation. He stared at her for the longest while, his tongue sliding over his bottom lip.
"Why don’t you just go ahead and explain to me how I can fuck my way out of here, hm?”
As she continued to do her busy work, Suzy had to ponder what it was that was going on in the other’s mind right now. She could think that it might be odd for the male to hear her say such things to him, to know what he was without his telling her. She had been told the tale of the seven sins by her parents in their short time together before being sent to the Earth Realm in order to survive. It was something that she had almost wondered for a while if it was just that. A story. But here, in the flesh, which she was only now pretending to heal so those outside wouldn’t be suspicious, was one of the aforementioned Sins. And judging by the way her vessel’s body was reacting, she had figured that this must be Lust. It was involuntary, though she had quite enough experience in keeping things hidden, much like her demon side.
His lack of concern over why she knew so much didn’t surprise her, in fact, she thought it might be normal. If she could tell what he was, he may be able to tell what she was. Luckily for the both of them, he most likely would not be willing to rat her out to either side, as far as she could tell, that is, if he suspected anything other than her angelic side. As far as she knew, the Sins were just as likely to go to Heaven as she was. The Creator didn’t exactly look well upon her type. An angel demon hybrid was not something that they considered okay. It wasn’t something that The Creator would let past it’s gates. They had wanted her dead before she came to the human world, and she could only imagine that that want for her demise would only have grown the longer she was allowed to be in existence.
She saw him testing his arm, and she knew that it was just fine. She had healed many before, including herself, so she had no doubt. Suzy noted his staring at her, proceeding to stare back, as though this was customary to do. When he posed his question to her, she pondered it for a minute. “How many people can you effect with your power? You wait until you can get two of them in here and couldn’t you make them want to mate with one another?” she asked. “Then couldn’t you escape by repeating this? Forgive me, I am not the strategist my mother is.” she said with a slight bow.
A Look Inside
As a member neither of The Creator or The Fallen's armies, Suzy would sometimes be approached by members of either faction in an attempt to persuade her or "persuade" her to join their cause. She knew that the lackeys that they sent were just doing their jobs, but she wished they'd at least be honest about what would happen. The angels, they offered salvation, a safe haven among their ranks. They weren't aware that she had been informed of the angel's previous instructions which to kill her mother before she had been born.
The demons, they tried a different approach. They offered her riches, offered her power. Told her she could lead an army of her own. They of course didn't realize that her father had been offered the same thing if he gave her up once she was born. The Fallen wanted her for his own, a prized possession, something he could gloat about, that he'd have an angel on his side, even thought that was only a half-truth.
She wondered if this was something that was going to ever end, if she would always have to be stuck in the middle of a war that she wasn't even sure she wanted to be a part of. The thing that was most ironic was that her escape to this realm, into this vessel, just brought her into the middle of another one between the mutants and the humans. She was technically neither, despite her position with the Brotherhood.
The biggest struggle was one of an internal nature. Being half-angel and half-demon sounds like it might be the best of both worlds, but behind that calm visage, the two sides of her being are constantly fighting to be set free. For the most part, only her angelic, easier to get along with side has come out. Suzy often wonders how long it will win out.
