I’m just going to say this because I think it’s important. Sometimes, our own fandom unintentionally fuels a lot of the mockery aimed at the idea of Byler endgame. I’m not sure why a fellow Byler would send a message to a well-known person basically framing us as “delusional” for believing it could happen. It’s completely fine to have doubts for valid reasons, but it’s frustrating when some in the fandom seem to jump at any excuse to dismiss Byler just because the Duffers haven’t explicitly confirmed it.

like stand the fuck up! U guys have at least 10 solid proofs and y all worry about details. Basically you will always have Byler doubts until you get a proof that it is endgame which you won't get until the end of the season so either take a step back from the fandom to rest a bit or deal with that fact !

"Leakers" have really gone off the rails. At least before Season 5, some of them tried to sound credible. Now it’s just random people making up fake Byler or Mileven “leaks,” to the point where the big trend right now is someone pretending to know about Mileven doing you-know-what just to rile up Bylers. I’m not sure what the average age in this fandom is, but this is honestly pathetic.

If you are tired of dealing with ship wars then idk focus on smth else until you get proofs of what you are claiming is correct.

Honestly, I don’t understand why some people think Byler can’t happen if Mike and El kiss in Season 5.

We’re watching Stranger Things, a show where relationships shift all the time. Characters hook up in one episode and break up the next, only to be involved with someone else later on (just look at Nancy, Steve, and Jonathan). So please don’t come into my asks saying you doubt Byler just because of the possibility of a Mileven kiss.

First of all, it’s not confirmed. And even if it does happen, we have zero context.was it real? A vision? A goodbye? What happened after? A kiss alone doesn’t define the endgame. Even if it’s genuine, that doesn’t mean Mileven is meant to be.

I just want to point out that if Finn, even as a young director, didn’t understand Mike’s reaction in the van scene , especially considering what follows with the monologue and felt the need to speak to the Duffer brothers about it, that says a lot. It suggests he sensed the scene would come across as simply cruel if Byler wasn’t going to lead anywhere. I wouldn't even be surprised if Finn tried to change the van script a bit and got told to stick to what was written.

Y’all see why I complain about him now 😭? Save me, I’m a Byler in a Mileven household. He’s said worse stuff regarding Mike but damn bro. It’s almost like the show is dangling it on a stick in front of us. People talk about how they save Mileven comments to come back and ask stuff like “you were saying?” Imma be that way to my dad. I may not even say anything, I have two reasons for wanting Byler endgame. The main reason is because I genuinely love them. The second reason is to be proven right because I despise this “gay people make every straight character gay” mindset

And it’s weird because he says shit like that but then say he’s not homophobic and he’ll be like “my feelings towards fictional media isn’t my feelings towards you” but yes the fuck it is. It’s the same damn concept. If you’re saying this shit about the community I’m in, you ARE talking to me. I don’t think he’s overall homophobic. But he says stuff like this and it pisses me off and it’s why I never talk to him about any lgbtq related topics.

Tbh I think he’s actually my biggest source of Byler doubt. He always gaslights me into doubt tbh 💀.

As a straight person, I can tell that sometimes straight people tend to say stuffs like that. Now whether it's homophobia or simply criticizing a behavior, you can't really tell cause most of the times it just means the person is annoyed of a behavior a community has but respects the community.it's like when you hear a straight person saying:"why do gay people make their whole personality about their sexuality".I think your dad simply wants you to stop mentioning Byler to him a lot of times cause not only he doesn't care but he doesn't believe it will happen.

1. Are your doubts influenced by others? Are you questioning it because many people are either doubting it themselves or making you feel crazy for believing? If so, remember that these doubts genrally come from external noise, not the show or its creators. Some people project their fears of queerbaiting due to their experience with other projects onto Stranger Things, or they're frustrated by the possibility of Byler happening and find satisfaction in your uncertainty. Don’t let their reactions cloud your judgment.

2. Are your doubts about the Duffers’ intentions? Are you worried because the Duffers haven’t made it explicit yet, and you fear they might pivot back to Mileven? Keep in mind, you don’t invest time and money into subtle but consistent hints if your goal is to queerbait. If Byler weren’t endgame, the Duffers would likely have steered the actors away from promoting it and would’ve leaned into Mileven’s "endgame" narrative by now.

Lastly, remember that no one can dictate what you should or shouldn’t ship. You’re free to enjoy Byler, even if it doesn’t become canon. Having high hopes is fine, but try to keep expectations grounded. You're not delusional—you’re simply paying closer attention than most fans. ❤️
