Anyone who called Joe Biden "Genocide Joe" and subsequently voted for Trump is a certified moron

Imagine being outed as a terrible father on your own website
I would NOT want to be Trump's ear right now
-Globalization causes cultural diffusion. -If globalization continues and cultures increasingly deteriorate/diffuse, people will then be increasingly insecure regarding their cultural identity. -Since one’s desire for cultural affiliation often grows when their cultural identity is in question*, one’s need for affiliation is increased by cultural diffusion. -So, if younger generations are less secure in their own cultural identities, and one’s need for affiliation grows as their culture is diffused, it follows that younger generations will be increasingly passionate and outspoken regarding their cultural identity despite a weaker affiliation with them.
-Ironically, this means the diffusion of cultures may be more divisive than unifying.
-Therefore cultural diffusion does not bring about a unity of cultures, rather it increases the desire for separation from other cultures.
*This is a real phenomenon, but i forget the name of it
I’m mighty tempted to join a cult.
It’s said that cults are harmful because they prevent people from thinking for themselves. But for me that’s precisely the appeal. The entirety of my problems stem from thinking for myself. It’s thinking for myself that makes life convoluted.
So, given the option, I’d select existential certainty over freedom of thought. Cults can offer the former, whereas I’m currently inhibited by the latter.
Religion and philosophy as I know them haven’t rectified the problem. I must live a good life, not read about what makes life good. If it’s a cult that lets me lead a satisfactory life, then I want to join a damn cult.
As we age, we don’t resolve the answers to existential questions, rather we figure out how to cope without knowing the answers to such questions.
But I’ve yet to do that...
I’m too old for this.
Existential issues aside, I frequently ask myself how I can live in a society so full of greed, materialism, division, isolation, and violence.
I’m not sure, and I’ve never been sure. Maybe a cult is the answer

K-pop?
The popularity of K-pop among American teenage white girls is, in part, due to implicit racial bias. In particular it’s an implicit bias regarding the masculinity of varying ethnicities.
In the USA, successful boy bands must be composed of non-threatening men. And, according to American teenage white girls, Asian men are the least threatening demographic. Asian men are seen as more androgynous and lack the masculinity of other ethnicities.
African American men, on the other hand, are seen as the most threatening demographic. White people, Hispanics, Native Americans, etc. are somewhere in between.
So any boy band composed of African American teenagers/men is unlikely to succeed. Do you really think BTS would be so popular if the members were black?
It’s an unfortunate situation, but that’s the way it is.

A vs. An
We tend to use “an” before a word beginning with a vowel. On the other hand we use “a” before a word beginning with a consonant.
For example, when I say “I own an ostrich” I use “an” because “ostrich” begins with a vowel, Whereas when I say “I own a duck” I use “a” because “duck” begins with a consonant.
However there are exceptions to this rule, which implies that “an” and “a” are used for the sake of easier pronunciation. Examples of using “a” before a vowel include: “A used computer” or “A European person”
So “A” vs. “An” is more about the sound of the following word than a static rule of the matter.
tripe.
Some folks have objected to Rawls’ original position theory because they claim it ignores a moral agent’s cultural influence. They say a person who grew up in a USA/Mexican culture, for example, can’t help but take into account the values by which they were raised.
However I challenge those who defend such a position to also explain the plausibility of a multicultural democracy. It’s fine if one objects to the original position theory, but one cannot object to it while simultaneously espousing a democracy inspired by multiculturalism. Either a voter attempts to disregard their cultural beliefs for the sake of being a neutral moral agent, or one votes according to the interests of a USA/Mexican agent.
If one’s own cultural interests are that intertwined with their priorities, how can they coexist in a multicultural, democratic society? This might be too condensed to get my point across...
