Writing bad oneshot-drabbles is so much easier when you have a friend writing their own thing with you & you can periodically check out each other's work & ask questions & hype each other up about it!!! It's like a less Sisyphean pomidoro & it's the best thing ever!!!

#unfortunately I no longer have anyone to do this with #& I can only be my own hypeman for so long #if you have people to do this with though then I would 1000% recommend it!!!#anywho I'm currently writing something that I am not at all happy with #but I'm determined to have something done by tomorrow #so we'll see if I can make it readable in time!#The guy I'm writing right now has a very specific cadence & I am not getting it right at all!!!#it's getting to the point where I'm going to have to invent a reason for him to be speaking like that because it's like. Not good.#But it's okay!! If I'm willing to puzzle through fics in English so broken I can barely make out what's happening #Then I trust at least one person to put up with a slightly annoying narrator

I cna't draw!!!!!!!!! You reckon I can write a drabble that's not entirely dogshit tonight??? Under 1000 words, saying absolutely nothing substantial, just typing letters, do you think it's possible??? Can it be done??? If it can be done then I won't have to eat another lamp!! My belovèd figurative table lamp.... My bedside companion for years on end.... I feel its cable coil inside me still!!.......... It prods at me & I wretch knowing that it is my victim........ Happy him day!! Happy birthday to him!!

#ahhhh I really wanted to do something more high-effort for his birthday #I was supposed to make a multimedia comic about tadpoles & it was supposed to be a cool metaphor & I didn't finish a single panel in time #Then!! With a day to spare I decided that I should simply make a piano cover of one of his centre/solo songs #y'know! Because that would obviously be infinitely easier!! [heavy sarcasm]#Only after spending several hours rendering the first half of F*RN! completely unlistenable did I realise #That Heart Heat Beat was technically also one of his centre songs!! A song which I had already started making a cover for!!#A song which (ironically) I knew significantly better!!#I gave up after that & drew some anatomically questionable chibis instead #I hope they're acceptable. I'm sorry.#Do I want to tag this properly? I probably should #tw food #(cherry almond tart!! It's nearly the right colours!! :-D )#enstars #shinobu sengoku #I guess this is still better than nothing! I think I'd make a great teacher for the same reason I'd make an awful social media manager. Every post I write necessitates at least four extra explanatory paragraphs to clarify my point at the expense of any possible impact. That last sentence was entirely unnecessary. so why does authorial intent matter in enstars ?

there has been alot of questionable actions done throughout enstars' history, which has only become more disgustingly apparent in recent times, so knowing the history helps you consume enstars critically. the characters are unfortunately products of this franchise, happy elements will continue to keep doing whatever makes them the most money. the writers seem to hardly care about the cast now, but you do don't you? while authors do have a right to write their characters however they want to, it is also our right to criticize them being inconsistent. being aware of this can put to light the certain way they try to write characters, are they trope-ify them ? are they actually like this ? one example is with natsume. an important thing to natsume's arc is him maturing, he was the baby of the eccentrics and he often felt like he didn't belong with his niisans. he often took out his frustrations on tsumugi, which is pretty childish of him considering that he could yknow? talk through with his issues..but no, early natsume was prideful and arrogant, he hated being perceived as weak. over time, since his insecurities were revealed in pleaides, this culminates into wonder game, where natsume's immaturity comes back to bite him in the ass almost immediately. he make a petty comment towards nagisa, who immediately clocks him. natsume and tsumugi also have am argument pretty much, which natsume places a lot of assumptions towards tsumugi bevause once again !! he's too prideful to be vulnerable. but eventually he does relent when tsumugi seeks him out privately, and then yeah. also back in basic era, the writing was the feature, but now the focus has shifted to the visual aspect. I've talked to people about this, and the overlap of the writing getting worse as enstars transitioned to music era seems to be the hypothesis.

It sucks!!!#anywho. tl;dr this is 100% correct & it makes the writing thematically weaker which makes the character writing even worse & it sucks #everything sucks

My younger sister sat her Higher chemistry exam yesterday. The day before this exam she asked me how I memorised all of the colour changes you need to know for that course & I had the absolute pleasure of watching her face drop when I pulled up the graphic I made for myself:
