A Dove Story - Original Ending
This is the original ending to the Rooms storyline which just finished over on my Rooms blog. It’s okay but a bit rushed and silly which is why I changed it. Still, enjoy!

A Dove Story - Original Ending
This is the original ending to the Rooms storyline which just finished over on my Rooms blog. It’s okay but a bit rushed and silly which is why I changed it. Still, enjoy!
Abandoned ‘Pecking Order’ Comic
The first page of a Rooms story I never finished. Some of the art was later reused in the ‘Long Road Home Again’ story currently up on the Rooms blog
Unused ‘Long Road Home Again’ Comic Pages
Two earlier versions of the Rooms strip over at my Rooms blog. I actually really like the first one and think it’s a shame I didn't use it. The parrot in the second one is not Reginald’s Elbow but another member of the Elbow family who we will never see ever anywhere else.
I was going to upload the original ending to Rooms’ current storyline and its 2008 ‘explanation’ here but the 2008 one incorporates the original strip into it so I’ve just put that up above. Enjoy! (if that’s possible. it’s pretty unimpressive)
The original version of today’s Rooms strip. This one isn’t so different but does have a completely different first panel and the Parrot still wearing his helmet.
Yet another deleted scene from Rooms’ ‘Coconut Shells’ story. This one was particularly bad with far too much text, not enough art, and not a joke in sight. See the new, improved, version of the scene over on the Rooms blog.
Here’s another deleted scene from Rooms’ ‘Coconut Shells’ storyline (now playing over at my Rooms blog) As I said over there, it’s meant to be dramatic but it’s really just a bit boring (but check out those rad lighting effects, man!)
Here’s the original Rooms strip that was edited to make the new version you can see on today’s Rooms blog. Enjoy!
Probably not the best day to upload this but hey, have a comic!
Here, have some shapes.
The final strip of iParrot. Hope you all enjoyed it! Rebecca’s meant to have had her hair cut to look more like her parrot self but she just ended up looking like Red from Gunnerkrigg Court. This storyline was originally going to end with less robot but how could I say no to that face? He’s a scamp.
The penultimate strip of the storyline! Anyone who previously watched seminal arthouse classic, The Beard , will probably be wondering at this point what I have against dogs. The answer is everything. They’re the worst. *ducks from dog lovers everywhere*
Originally, I’d planned to have a few strips where she met other birds before changing back. In the end, I decided not to as thought it would detract from the central theme.
Parts of this storyline may have been influenced by recent political events in this country. Bet you can’t guess what!
Strip 7! We’re into the second half of this story now. Hope you’re all enjoying it.
Seriously, it’s weird how these characters never met before this storyline.
I’d say “What larks” but that’s the wrong kind of bird.
