"We are not leaving." Simple as that. Lorenzo stood, arms crossed in front of his chest as he glanced down at Vance. It was cute, somewhere, that Vance thought he could order his new bodyguard now that his father retired. Hand reached out to grab Vance's bicep, a silent warning while his head dipped down to meet his gaze. "Your father gave me commands to keep you here after his speech. Now I know you're testing the waters and all that, sir, but I'm pretty sure we're both not up for drama with your daddy. Am I right?" Though his words were a little cold and stern, Lorenzo's mouth was curling up in a sideways smirk. "That's what I thought. Now, why don't you grab another glass of that expensive champagne?"

Vance wasn't throwing a tantrum. Ever the mild-mannered middle child, he had never made any trouble, any scandal, anything that ever caused so much as a raised eyebrow. But god forbid that he tried to practice what his therapist suggested and stood up for himself by politely suggesting that maybe he could take a quick breather in the courtyard.

And it had to really be god forbid because what he wanted and what he got was entirely different. Instead of an escape from the crowd and their incessant chatter, he got weak knees, rapid heartbeat, shortness of breath. The firm grip on his bicep felt like it left a brand on him even though it wasn't quick enough to let the warmth of Lorenzo's hand sink through the arm of his jacket. No one had ever touched Vance like that - did no one tell Lorenzo he wasn't supposed to initiate physical contact with the royals unless absolutely necessary?

He opened this mouth, and promptly shut it when nothing came out. The room quietened, the sounds muted to a background droning, and all he could see was Lorenzo's eyes. Vance had never noticed the colour before, a grey green-blue that was almost metallic. Clearing his voice, he stiffy walked a few steps to the bar. Glasses of whites and reds and sparkling already poured, and Vance picked up, specifically, a bubbling flute.

"Please do not ever refer to His Majesty as 'my daddy' ever again," was all he could manage when he returned to Lorenzo.

"I mean I already have some tats, be interesting to see what you came up with. And Gucci is overrated but I could manage," Gio joked with a small laugh. "You provide me my caffine, least I can do as thanks," he gave a playful wink.

Gio smirked at what Fane said "Understatement but yes I'm good with them and I could absolutely do that. Name the resteraunt and the day... Bad person can be kind of subjective though," he pointed out.

"Dinner isn't all you'd want though right? Just dinner is still not big enough."

"How about logo mania but it's your exes' names?" Fane met the other's eyes with a raised brow. "I dunno. It's not like you're not paying for your coffee, you know?" There wasn't any ethics implication of maybe going out on a date with your customer, Fane thought as he attempted to draw a Gucci logo on the foam. He didn't quite understand the insistence to make it a whole wish-day - was this a lovebombing thing?

"I honestly don't know. Buy me flowers? Give me a back rub?"

"Come on think bigger," Gio said with a laugh. "I tell you that I'm going to give you the best day ever, anything you want. I'm talking bucket list kind of things," Gio said with a grin.

Was he presenting this to the other as a hypothetical? Sure but he was taking notes, he didn't often have long term connections with people but he liked spoiling people when they were in his life.

The other had been one of his favorite people for a bit now so... Spoiling was going to be kicked into over drive. "I'm talking twenty four hours to live type requests."

"It is very dangerous to give me carte blanche, you know. I could make you get tats from head to toe. Or deck me out in Gucci from head to toe." He told Gio over the espresso machine, fiddling with it to reduce the strength, just slightly, given it was past dinner time when the other came in. As he usually did, and somehow, Gio hadn't noticed.

But this was Gio asking him out, wasn't it? Gotta be. "Listen, you're good with computer stuff, right? What if there's a restaurant that's like, super booked, but you could like, I dunno, cancel Elon or Bezos type reservation and we could go? But only if they're actually bad people."
