I could never say that season 1 of BCS is my favorite, because the other seasons are all better by virtue of building upon the strengths of the season before it. So obviously season 1 doesn't have that advantage

But BCS season 1 has such a special place in my heart. It feels like almost a different show, and a part of me wishes we could have six seasons of sitcom-adjacent BCS, full of scenes like when Howard hauls Kim off to see Jimmy's billboard, and he asks her if she can explain why Jimmy would do this, and Kim says, and I quote, "He's a free spirit. 😐"
