Jace and Alec snapchat each other all the time (after Clary, Simon, and Magnus explained it to them) and its always really lame insults. Like Alec will take a pic of chairman and caption it “Chairman says you’re a nerd”

When Alec falls asleep during lessons Jace doodles on his face.

Jace makes Alec take selfies with him and Jace always puts the worst one as his background.

Jace drunk dials Alec all the time, sometimes leaving messages like “who am I Alec? I’m not a Wayland or a Lightwood……..who am I? I’m an fking lion that’s what I am. Alec…..Allllllllllec………..you’re gay……… and I still love you………but not in that way….well maybe…..Allllllllec.” and Alec just sighs and goes to pick him up. 

Jace wears Alec sweaters 

Jace becoming tremendously protective over Alec after he comes out to the clave and will fight any shadowhunter who says ignorant comments about his sexuality, with Isabelle backing him up.  

When Alec is angry with Jace he refuses to speak to him and it drives Jace nuts. So he follows him around all day just rambling on and on about everything in till Alec speaks to him again.

i know way more adults 40+ who text and drive and are obsessed with their phones than i do teens and 20-somethings like i literally do not understand how this is being made into a “your generation is so terrible” thing. if youre going to mindlessly hate new technology because it scares you at least have the tits to admit that it’s not just a “millennial” issue.
