I also find it interesting how Mel and Ambessa are so confrontational with it. They challenge their parents, wanting to know their motives for abandoning them.

ok i know bite marks is about the vibe of noxus in general but if you reaaally want to, you can make a reading of the song that's specifically about mel. my interpretation below for funsies :)

Something about being physically fearless but having an armor around your emotions/heart. Mel is very guarded emotionally, even when she was in a romantic relationship. However Leblanc is able to get at that emotionally vulnerable part of her by bringing back painful memories such as the beheading or Kino or even her relationship with Ambessa.

Ambessa means lion. An apex predator licking their bloodied claws after hunting is common imagery. However, the lioness is not licking her own blade. She's licking your blade. And I like to think it's "lie-lie-lion", because Ambessa was doing a lot of lying. To... keep the blood off Mel. The last part might also call back to the last Noxian principle Ambessa came up with, sacrifice.

Drakehounds actually look more like dragons, but they can be trained like hounds. Medarda house has these. "Your dogs are closing in" -> Mel thought she was winning, that she had Leblanc cornered. And just in that moment she learned something new.

It's actually Mel who is cornered. She thought she could use the Black Rose to turn it against Ambessa but ended up getting her killed for good and not even getting rid of Leblanc.
Walls > hounds and hmmm I might be reaching a bit here but the Black Rose has this lab under ruins that sometimes disappear and might be the thing that appears in the video.

Now that her mother is dead and she's been catapulted back into Noxus, this is inviting Mel to be reborn and embrace the violence.

Leblanc admitted Ambessa did put up a fight, so her blade lived up to her bark. "One seat on a throne, one foot in the grave?" describes Mel's current predicament: she's the Medarda heir because everybody else has been killed; she needs to make hard choices and act wisely not to end up like them.

Joining the Black Rose against her principles is extremely tempting. Leblanc is offering Mel guidance, a new family, and even relative certainty - by telling her the truth about things Ambessa had hidden from her, and appreciating sides of her no one else had. But Mel is too perceptive to be unaware that a flame is still fire.
