an only child to a set of rich workaholic parents, she’s lived most of her life in solitude.
agnes was ten when she learned of her real father, hypnos. she had gone to take her mother’s hand when she saw.. everything. the drunken night that they’d shared together, to her mother finding out that she was pregnant.
it scared the absolute shit out of her, and upon her mom’s admittance, she withdrew from the relationship she had shared with both of her ‘parents’. hypnos began to visit her in her sleep soon after, and took agnes under his wing.
her newfound gifts scared the absolute shit out of her. she couldn’t so much as graze another’s skin without seeing their lowest of days. and as much as she ached to change these memories, the idea of having the ability to manipulate with such ease made her sick.
she literally became elsa headass wearing leather gloves all the time ok i’m NOT joking she was really scared of herself growing up. eventually, she grew to get used to her powers, and even suppress the ability to see into others memories. sometimes when she gets extremely upset, angry or even happy, her gifts run rampant.
this experience made her fall into herself, becoming a wallflower who keeps people at an arms length.
