Traveling- what it does to you:

1) You learn so many things without even realizing it.

It is typically the simple things you do as a traveler, where you learn the most (walking the streets, grocery shopping, taking the local transport).

2) You become super adaptable.

Your body will be able to sleep just about anywhere. Your comfort zone will broaden immensely. Things you may have once found awkward or weird will just become normal (sleeping in a dorm of 16 strangers, living with a family you never met before, sticking out in a crowd)

3) You may become exhausted.

You will probably be on the go often. And you will be seeing and doing so many different things that your body will need a rest. On the bright side, that is why you most likely will be able to sleep just about anywhere.

4) You will have so many different friend groups.

In one place you may be hanging out with party animals and then your next location you may find yourself with a conservative family. You will start to realize how you can hold a conversation with just about anyone.

5) You think of the world as a place of endless opportunities.

You never say to yourself I can’t afford to go there. You look at the map with pure excitement knowing that pretty much any place is attainable with sites such as workaway.info and helpx.
