week 11 | silence There is silence in the wind blowing through your hair, the trees and the grass. There is silence in the birds singing and in the clouds moving above you. The world is loud and hectic sometimes but silence can be found in a lot of things and all you have to do is pay attention.

week 10 | environment Even though we might be small we can still make a difference.

week 9 | surrealism We had our first snow today. Usually I would hide inside and prepare myself to hibernate but I have to admit that it looks pretty magical sometimes. I love this place so I decided to use it for this week with a little help of Photoshop.

week 8 | minimalism Sometimes I feel like I won't have enough time to take a picture I'll be happy with and I put myself under a lot of pressure. This theme was perfect to simplify it all - no hours of thinking about a concept, no styling and no search for the perfect location or pose, just taking a walk and hoping for inspiration.

week 7 | reflection Water is my favorite element and I've always been fascinated by its reflections, different sounds and the calming atmosphere.

week 6 | mimicry It was a busy and rainy week. The early darkness makes this project a lot more difficult too but I knew this wouldn't always be easy. ✨

week 5 | time This was inspired by the book "Momo and the thieves of time" by Michael Ende.

week 4 | urban This week was hard for me. I live in the countryside and I'm not very close to a big city. The most urban place around here was this empty train station.

When one of my favorite photographers starts a project and invites me to join, of course I just jump into it without even thinking about it for a second. January 1, 2017. Eva Merry Five years ago today at that exact same place I made a decision. I promised myself to take a picture every day for a whole year. I hoped to improve my photography skills and gain the self-confidence I lacked so much at that time. But I had never imagined how it would impact and change my whole life for the better. With photography I found something that could make me happy, relaxed and excited all at once. It inspires me to take risks, explore new places, meet new people and chase my dreams.
