The Elizabeth line: more than a railway

Opened in May 2022, the Elizabeth line increases central London’s rail capacity by 10%, making for easier, faster, more comfortable journeys for commuters, and providing for London’s growing population, which is expected to reach 9.5M by 2030.

Frequent power shortages continue for millions in Pakistan and frustrate the country’s development. We are working with Pakistan’s Water and Power Development Authority and the World Bank to expand the generation capacity of the Tarbela Dam hydroelectric plant.

Plans to refurbish Bristol’s Grade 1 listed main train station open the opportunity to strengthen its connectivity with the city centre and create up to 22,000 jobs and 10,000 homes while doing so.

COP26 newsletters

In November 2021, world leaders gathered in Scotland for the international climate change conference, COP26. Throughout the summit senior colleagues and climate practitioners from Mott MacDonald were participating in summit activities, and fringe and virtual events too.
