I love beauty. I’m not sure I used to notice beauty much… unless it was an exceptional sunset, a piece of art or something else that’s traditionally considered beautiful. Living life has, however, shown me the importance of this ever-present moment of now. I’ve come to realize that every moment matters, and will reverberate through existence itself, impacting everything. Now, how’s that for responsibility… one we all share, equally. In each moment, I get to choose what comes through me, what expressions I bring forth into the field of Life. It’s up to me, and me alone, if I align with joy or fear, generosity or selfishness, and so on and so forth. Hence my love for beauty. I can look at all the horrendous things going on in the world and feel appalled, angry and scared… or I can go deeper into the understanding that ALL is ultimately ‘of God’ (Life, Universe, Source etc), and it only appears as separate and “bad”, due to some kind of fear, pain or distortion. When I actively look for beauty, that which seems horrendous, becomes beautiful, through the eyes of love & compassion. It’s not about condoning, avoidance or ignorance, but being the light that we are, even in the face of darkness… that of others and the world yes, but maybe even more so, that of our own. When I can stay in my light, the world becomes beautiful in my eyes… and THAT is then not only what I see and experience myself… but also what I bring, through my mere presence…and from THAT place, choices, words and actions are very different. Every moment matters… even the tiniest, seemingly insignificant of choices. I never used to care much for clothes for instance. Now I find such joy and beauty in the daily task of dressing this human body… and through that act of having fun, seeking beauty, I’m reminded to enjoy life and seek, experience and share beauty everywhere I go PS. Lately I’ve found a passion for natural materials… and this linen shirt is a new favorite. https://www.instagram.com/p/CehBe5zPkIP/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
