You say it’s detrimental to my soul, but what else can I do to cope?I’ve given my life for the future, but in doing so I gave up on both. As a child, I wondered whyyou can’t fight light with darknesswhen you can fight darkness with light.I haven’t figured it out… Cause, I stopped trying to learn in these trying times, and I guess along the way, I forgot how to be alive.Looking back, my life has…

Into the Mist
By the shorelines near the evergreen, I rest near ill-fallen treesWhen the clouds above me disappear, and there’s hope for clarityCamouflaged in a dress dyed moss green, my body is finally at easeAnd, I’m unencumbered by fear, but cast with the curse of curiosityNow part of the unseen, I glide along with the breezeUnbothered I laid for years, but I can now move forth carelessly Walking through…

Don't let me reach that kind of level where I don't care anymore..
At this point I don't really care anymore
you make me something beautiful, something without you i am not; like the sun makes the moon a crescent, and the rain makes skeleton flowers soft.
Sometimes it feels like nobody except radfems is willing to discuss porn’s influence on the world around us. Even when people have to address misogyny they are reluctant to bring up porn as a factor. Things like sexual assaults, incel culture, rape culture in general- they may have existed before widespread pornography use, but people don’t want to think porn is a factor in contributing to the frequency and severity of these things. If you call it out you hate fun and masturbation and you’re a buzzkill.
If someone spends around fifteen minutes to even hours each day seeing a certain type of person as an object… and then that someone has to go out into the world and treat these supposed “objects” as real people… mm nah. Forget it. No way this is influencing society in any way at all. Totally not.
“if cis people are allowed to be gender nonconforming, why can’t trans people? let trans men be feminine!”
this is a common sentiment i see being passed around nowadays. you can open tiktok or instagram and find an endless stream of teen FTMs in dresses and black eyeliner. they say things like “i want to be able to wear skirts the way that cis men wear skirts.”
on the surface, this rhetoric is a pretty confusing gotcha because there’s seemingly no way to argue it without being called transphobic. they are intentionally, but subtly, trying to playing on our sense of righteousness towards protecting GNC people.
but the truth is, they’re inserting themselves in a category that does not include them. it’s the most rampant case of self-ID i’ve seen. most of these people haven’t even done HRT or had surgeries. they are still seen 100% as girls/women by society, and they’re trying to convince us that conforming to female roles is GNC just because they said so.
they have so much internalized misogyny that they would throw their womanhood under the bus despite participating in femininity—the oppressive structure used to control women.
if you’re going to base an identity around sexist stereotypes instead of the existence of actual sex dysphoria, at least have a little consistency.
