i recently read half a soul by olivia atwater. 9/10!! i finally found the silly fantasy FMC that i’ve been searching for since FOREVER. it’s just a breath of fresh air among reading lots of serious adult fantasy novels with badass FMCs. i’ll definitely be going back to this regency era world again in yhe future :)

okay so i went to the stephanie garber signing for acftl in roseville and she’s considering doing an adaptation for her books but it depends on who asks her?? like she’s had people she likes whose come up to her about turning the book into a show or movie, but also producers who she doesn’t like.

i saw my classmate at barns & nobles today and i was so embarrassed that i could barely speak to my mom who wanted me to stop gawking around for books more than anything else 😭 i’m almost 18 and she treats me like a kid or maybe i’m embarrassed and mad because i act like one. i can’t really tell the difference which concerns me.
