So.. I did a thing...

I was building a new lot, and I realized, I couldn't find somethin g that fit my needs for a path! I couldn't find one to download either, so I figured... why not make my own? At first I wasn't going to post it, but I figured maybe someone else would like them too? Now, I know some paths dont... line up well, but I don't know how to fix it, I'm sorry... So I was in a version of Uncle Vanya that happened in the woods for one day in September, adapted and directed by Eve Best. This is Sonya at the end, when she put down her cake tin and stopped longing and pining and fumbling and hiding and she looked that beautiful socially distanced audience in the eyes and commanded them to not only keep holding on and keep going in the face of chaos and despair, but called out with all her might to the trees and the gods and anyone who was listening to bring a new world into being. After spending the whole play in her miserable, lonely shoes, her statement of resilience and imagination and courage and hope blew me away. If this is the only live show I’m doing this year I’m glad it was this one (also because in that moment I was convinced I might be turning into an actual tree. Or Elphaba. Either is fine by me). One day when we can hug each other and gather to tell stories and sing songs, I hope we can do it again. Hope everyone is holding on ok.
