Quinn cringed at the name, profoundly confused as to what was going on. “Smarter…twin…brother?” She says slowly, blinking at the man before her. “I’ve been around Sam’s family and spent time with his younger siblings; not once have any of them mentioned you and– Angry pout?!” Her eyes narrowed at him, huffing in mere annoyance.

His smile never faltered. While she took it all in he just grinned that classic aussie grin. “That’s right, much smarter!” Another laugh passed his lips as he fixed the sleeves that hung over his chest. “Ah well that’s crazy! I’m sure they just forgot because I’m from down under!” The accent got even thicker as he explained himself, as if to emphasis where he got the accent. “Yes but don’t worry! He told me all about your sweet && not scary side too! It’s a cute angry pout!”

“Nothing’s wrong with Pokemon; I just don’t think this game is worth spending most of your time on it.” That was a lie. Quinn’s been wanting to try it out, but refrained from playing it to avoid getting addicted. “Sam is–” She froze, her eyes trailing up and down the blond. What was he wearing? And what’s with the fake accent? “Sam?”

“Well miss Quinna ( that’s how we say it down under ) I think it’s a great use of time!” An obnoxious laugh followed the deeply accented words. “Ah no no --- you’re confused! I’m not Sam, I’m his smarter twin brother! Evan! He’s told me lots about you. I recognized ya because of your blonde hair && angry pout.”

Eyes widened at the sudden compliment that mirrored his own, lips parting as he searched for a response. He didn’t except Sam to go as far with this little game ( this was his first plausible fake accent in a long time ) he was playing. Evan Evans was not real. Kurt knew this wasn’t actually some strange Australian brother that had swept him off of his feet out of nowhere with a charming kindness this was clearly the same Sam Evans he had known for years. But he was looking at him in a new light now, one small minor compliment && he was blown away. Perhaps it was rather dramatic to feel something such as a crush so soon, but it had been much too long since anyone had spoken to him like that, complimented him so effortlessly. Sam Evans had just proven himself to be a fine, true specimen of masculinity && theatricality now. A nervous stutter is let out as he searches for an answer, surprised features breaking into an ear to ear smile. “ My eyes? Oh… Yes! My eyes! I’ve had them for several years now! In fact, since I was born! Thank you… “

Evan was pretty surprised by Kurt’s reaction. He didn’t often see him so silent and off his game. It was kind of adorable. In like, a totally friendship kind of way. His eyes couldn’t shift even if he tried, and honestly he didn’t want to. The rise he was getting out of someone who always held himself SO high was insane. A soft chuckle passed his lips as he felt a strange heat spread across his cheeks. “ Right --- I’d hope so! ---I just bought mine at the dollar store! ” His little joke made himself laugh even harder, but soon enough he calmed himself down, that was a little too Sam, not enough Evan. “ Totally kidding, I was born with mine too. Of course ”.

Evan spent several moments staring at the male, a concerned look on his features. Now he knew about flirting, he was a cool guy and he definitely knew when somebody was being flirty. Sam would totally freak out, but Evan was feeling something. Finding something NEW within. “ You think? Well I mean, thank you very much. I’ve gotta say you really know how to make somebody feel GOOD about themselves! Really, really cool. I like your-- scarf, really shows off your jawline && personality at the same time. && uh, your eyes too. They’re a nice shape, and colour. “ Smooth.
