17:Preferred mode of dress and rituals surrounding dress
Kurt takes his wardrobe very seriously. His clothes have always been something he uses to differentiate himself from the rest of the world, but most importantly uses to express himself. When younger, it was his main tool to scream for attention, but bold && glamorous is what makes him feel like himself at the end of the day. Kurt prefers fabrics && patterns that catch the eye, colors that can light up a room with his outfit alone. He likes to wear things that nobody else would ever own, which is why he enjoys creating his own pieces so much. Kurt hates all of the dark && bad in the world, so much depressing shades of bland. Why not light it up just a bit with his wardrobe? Picking out his clothes so decisively && taking it so seriously makes him feel like he has control. As for rituals, he always picks out what he is going to wear for the day the night before with a specific process that can consume more time than it probably should. But its a process that relaxes him before bed. If he doesn’t have his nightly outfit pick out session he will begin to get antsy. He first envisions a scheme, whether he wants to go for a more classy look, a toned down with a pop of color look, an edgy look, a fun look. There are always so many options. If you know Kurt well enough you can always tell when he is falling into depression or sadness because he begins to dress a tad bit less put together. Replaces button ups for over sized cardigans, greys instead of plums, hair a little less styled. Kurt’s Obsessive Compulsive Disorder is a big part of why he is so precise about his rituals for his clothes. He always feels a need to look perfectly just the way he desires. Getting ready is very necessary && he holds it at a high standard.
21:Turn-ons? Turn-offs?
Many things turn Kurt off, he is actually quite picky when it comes to his taste in other men, the turn offs include bad hygiene, pushy people, horrible fashion sense, messy people, racists/homophobes/transphobes/sexist people ( that one is quite obvious ) What can turn Kurt on is more of a complex story. It’s not too hard to woo him sexually if he finds you attractive. Of course there is some more psychical things he enjoys && can always turn him on, like a man in costume. He loves when a man is in a costume, I suppose that is his theatricality taking over. A man who can dance can also drive Kurt wild. Someone who can let Kurt fall out of his comfort box && do something wild is nice too, because he knows he will never do that by himself. Kurt used to be so modest about anything sexual, but now hes grown up && he is more of a risk taker. Someone who will pin him against a wall when he least expects it && kiss him hard. Someone who will sweep him off his feet while keeping him on his toes at the same time. He tends to do a thing where he goes for the people he most likely cannot have, which can end horrible for him.
22:Given a blank piece of paper, a pencil, and nothing to do, what would happen?
Poetry. Kurt loves to write poetry, it’s one of his hidden talents. The boy has a way with words, he writes poetry in the privacy of his solitude. Nobody really knows about it besides him, but if you are his lover or someone he holds close to his heart, he will write you plenty of poetry. He doesn’t really do it as much as he used to, which he is sad about. He never really has time for it but back in High School he would always write poetry about each big event that happened in his life or just anything in general.
27:What is their biggest regret?
Kurt’s biggest regret is not being in Ohio when Finn passed. He knows that it wasn’t his fault, he couldn’t of seen that coming, but he can’t help how much he regrets it. He was so caught up in New York he wasn’t even talking to Finn enough. Hardly calling. && it was too late when his attention was finally caught. If he could of had just five last minutes with his brother it would of meant everything to him. Kurt constantly reminds himself of how bad he feels about it without trying. It eats at him horribly. Sometimes he locks himself in his room && cries for a little to let all the suppressed emotion out. He just wishes he could of been there for him before he was gone.
28:Who do they see as their best friend? Their worst enemy?
Kurt considers a few people to be his best friends, it’s very difficult for him to choose one. Rachel of course, will always be just like a sister to him. Even if they are constantly fighting to be the best, they have matured && at the end of the day he loves her unconfitionally. Best friends forever. Kurt also considers Santana to be one of his best friends, past the bickering, they actually get along together so well. They can laugh together. Like an older sister who is mean to you but would actually do anything for you. Kurt sees the sweet in Santana, sees how she puts on a show. Kurt sees the real Santana. Blaine is another one of his best friends, as well as his lover ( verse dependent, but even in my verses where Kurt isn’t with Blaine, they are very good friends ) He also considers his father to be his best friend, forever. He wouldn’t be as strong as he is today without Burt. && of course, last but not least, Finn, his step brother will always be one of his best friends, even if he never expressed it enough. As for a worst enemy, Kurt likes to pretend he despises so many people but he has a heart sweeter than most. He’s a good person, && it takes a lot for him to deep down, under the filter, actually see someone as an enemy. Many years ago, he considered Dave to be an enemy while he was getting bullied—- but soon after finding out the truth of the situation, that was resolved. So that is proof that it’s quite rare for Kurt to have an “enemy.”
