*   ✿   ೨     ❘❙❚     ﹙  𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐆𝐑𝐄𝐄𝐍  𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐓𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓  ﹚    &.    often  shorted  to  EVERGREEN ,   is  a  fictional  south  korean  entertainment  company  based  in  seoul,  south  korea  that  was  established  on  june  4th  in  2006 .  since  2011 ,  the  corporation  itself  has  expanded  both  domestically  and  internationally ,  becoming  one  of  the  top  five  entertainment  companies  due  to  their  wide  marketing .  public  opinion  on  the  establishment  has  been  positive  since  opening  thanks  to  their  pristine  image  and  multiple  donations  to  varying  charities  as  well  as  their  expensive  promoting  for  their  idols .  malicious  rumors  and  scandals  came  and  went ,  some  articles  targeting  favoritism  and  bullying  among  their  artists .  serious  allegations  began  circling  mid  2017  after  the  ex-founder  of  a  sub-label  was  charged  with  drug  possession  and  the  death  of  a  solo  artist .  following  the  next  year ,  a  missing  person’s  report  was  filed  for  the  leader  of  an  active  group  who  mysteriously  vanished .  more  damaging  press  came  forward  in  the  form  of  idols  being  overworked ,  negligence  of  mental  and  physical  health ,  mistreatment ,  abuse ,  and  more  drug  usage .  however ,  a  lot  of  these  reports  can  only  be  found  on  burner  twitter  accounts  or  anonymous  online  forums  as  those  who  openly  spoke  out  about  them  were  immediately  sued  or  weirdly  took  back  their  words .  as  of  2022  they  still  remain  pretty  high  among  other  competitors  and  are  showing  no  signs  of  changing  their  ways .

evergreen  first  began  as  a  subsidiary  label  underneath  1POINT  MUSIC .  it  was  added  in  1997  and  co-founded  by  seong-bin  and  ae-ram  who  was  a  family  friend .  both  worked  until  2000  when  the  company  had  chosen  to  let  them  go  due  to  budget  cuts  and  lack  of  interest .

before  opening  up  evergreen  as  an  independent  company ,  seong-bin  would  seek  out  certain  individuals  by  visiting  dance  studios ,  talent  showcases ,  and  underground  battles / performances  to  convince  them  to  show  up  to  auditions  all  through  2005 .  

have  gained  a  high  level  of  respect  from  netizens  for  helping  a  lot  of  their  transferring  idols  with  their  unfair  contracts  and  without  putting  a  dent  into  their  accounts .

whenever  dipper’s  name  is  mentioned  in  a  group’s  comeback  announcement ,  the  views  always  reach  at  least  5+  million  within  1  hour  since  her  creative  directions  are  always  anticipated  because  they’re  saur  good .  her  favorite  work  has  been  with  oddessy  and  jellib  since  they  have  weird  concepts  and  she  adores  weird shit .

there’s  a  ranking  system  implemented  within  the  idol  groups .  normally  it  was  to  be  discussed  on  a  manager-artist  basis  but  the  ranks  were  made  public  both  within  the  company  and  on  the  app  everline .  many  fans  of  different  ❪ aka  nugu ❫  groups  thought  this  was  disrespectful  but  ae-ram  argued  that  it’s  actually  a  motivating  technique  --  which ,  kinda  cleared  up  most  of  the  backlash  they  were  getting .

there  was  a  sugar  baby  rumor  surrounding  ae-ram  after  an  anonymous  thread  on  twitter  exposed  an  idol  being  sponsored  by  a  high-up  figure  in  their  company .  it  was  revealed  to  have  been  ae-ram  because  she  was  photographed  leaving  the  dorms  of  an  idol  group .  which  group  remains  unknown  for  safety  reasons  but  the  issue  has  been  buried  yet  not  forgotten .

it  was  never  aired  but  during  filming  on  music  bank ,  two  members  got  into  a  physical  fight  on  stage  and  had  to  be  broken  up .  the  group  is  speculated  to  be  good  friday  as  their  segment  was  cut  entirely  as  well  as  an  apology  being  issued  stating  there  was  a  “medical  emergency”  that  needed  to  be  tended  to .  the  reason  why  everyone  know  a  fight  happened  was  because  a  staff  member  released  it  to  allkpop .

the  entire  death  of  soloist  day-1  was  weird  to  say  the  least .  it  was  immediately  ruled  as  a  suicide  but  then  only  a  day  later  a  homicide  with  possible  motive .  messages  had  leaked  out  between  day1  and  the  ex-owner  where  it  was  revealed  the  artist  would  get  his  supplies  from  the  older  man  and  was  even  supplied  that  same  day .  there  was  another  theory  of  a  third  party  being  involved  but  it  was  never  followed  up  so  they  could  quickly  close  the  case .

conspiracy  theorists  thrive  off  of  this  company  to  be  honest ,  because  the  disappearance  of  may  choi  lives  in  everyone’s  mind  rent  free  for  the  wrong  reasons .  her  entire  case  is  still  on-going  but  did  hit  a  dead  end  in  2021 .  apparently  she  was  last  seen  at  suncity  but  many  witness  reports  suggest  she  had  to  be  abducted  from  elsewhere  as  not  many  people  reported  seeing  her  ever  arrive .  it’s  believed  she  went  missing  in  between  the  time  leaving  the  dorm  and  going  to  the  club .

so  far  they’ve  had  artists  perform  at  lollapalooza  and  coachella  in  the  form  of  idols  groups  and  indie  artists  /  bands .  their  biggest  international  breakthrough  was  child’s  play  despite  them  not  being  completely  under  evergreen .

a  former  trainee  once  spoke  out  about  the  mistreatment  towards  underperforming  idol  groups  :  how  they  are  subjected  to  terrible  dorming ,  how  they  are  seen  as  disposable ,  often  getting  picked  on  and  even  shoved  out  of  studios  for  bigger  groups .  of  course  the  post  was  quickly  taken  down  but  a  member  of  good  friday  did  post  a  vague  “ but  did  they  lie? ”  on  his  instagram  but  it  was  taken  down ,  not  before  being  screenshotted  and  spread  around .  the  group  did  earn  a  bit  more  fans  from  this  though  so  it’s  a  win-win  situation .

*   ✿   ೨     ❘❙❚     ﹙  𝐓𝐖 :   drug  abuse ,  death ,  mentions  of  violence  ﹚   &.    born  originally  as  AARON  KIM ,  DAY-1  was  formerly  known  as  the  lead  singer  and  guitarist  of  the  band  A  WALK  IN  AUGUST  before  leaving  the  band  sometime  between  december  2012  and  march  2013  as  it’s  undisclosed  when  exactly  he  departed .  once  becoming  a  soloist  under  the  sub-label  OK  KOOL  ( who  was  still  H1GHSTAKE ),  he  became  well  liked  due  to  his  overall  vibe .  his  attitude  was  both  bringing  in  fans  but  losing  him  respect ,  especially  after  storming  off  stage  after  having  technical  difficulties .  it  was  rumored  he  was  involved  with  heavy  drugs  after  a  close  friend  of  his  was  arrested  for  distribution  and  possession .  later  on  photos  would  leak  of  him  doing  said  drugs  which  resulted  in  physical  fights  with  his  labelmates  and  even  being  aggressive  towards  bystanders  and  friends  on  the  occasion .  in  november  of  2017 ,  day-1  would  be  found  dead  in  the  H1GHSTAKE  building  seemingly  having  died  of  an  overdose .  the  police  ruled  it  as  suicide  but  would  later  classify  it  as  a  homicide  as  leaks  presented  which  was  why  the  former  owner  was  arrested  since  friends  confirmed  the  2  were  on  bad  terms .

*   ✿   ೨     ❘❙❚     ﹙  𝐓𝐖 :   none   ﹚    &.    A  WALK  IN  AUGUST ,  commonly  called  in  august ,  were  a  rock  band  consisting  of  four  male  members  that  debuted  in  september  of  2012 .  the  band  weren’t  necessarily  popular  when  originally  debuting  but  did  earn  a  bit  more  recognition  once  the  release  of  BACK  THEN  came  around .  they  were  mainly  known  for  their  visuals  but  the  true  attraction  would  become  the  leader  singer  DAY-1 .  the  boys  did  fairly  well  but  were  not  hitting  any  marks  with  their  music ,  which  many  believes  led  to  the  departure  of  the  vocalist  sometime  before  their  single  END  OF  SPRING  dropped .  it  was  only  revealed  that  he  left  when  appearing  in  an  interview  alone  and  discussing  how  he  will  be  taking  on  a  new  path  separate  from  a  walk  in  august .  the  band  proceeded  with  BING  being  the  new  lead  singer  but  not  many  fans  were  feeling  the  change .  their  activities  came  to  a  halt  after  NOTHING  LASTS  FOREVER  came  out  with  the  group  going  on  a  sudden  hiatus  until  march  of  2015  when  it  was  announced  they’d  be  disbanding .

SUNCITY    ›    acquired  in  2013 .  owned  by  pil-sung  since  1995 .  the  nightclub  chain  was  predominately  stationed  in  south  korea  and  was  spread  through  the  seoul  and  daegu  districts  before  silently  closing  its  doors  in  2003  for  “renovations.”  in  actuality ,  the  franchise  faced  allegations  of  racketeering  and  prostitution  and  went  under  investigation  in  2000 .  no  evidence  was  found  and  pil-sung  sued  the  police  department  for  harassment  which  he  ended  up  winning .  he  still  slowed  things  down  to  let  heat  die  down  before  getting  into  a  business  partnership  with  twin  nature  to  acquire  the  clubs .  together  they  revamped  them  but  the  allegations  still  stand  especially  now  that  a  girl  has  gone  missing  on  the  premises .

dhivja  was  attacked  by  chasity  stans  after  calling  them  “fucking  flops”  when  their  4th  mini  album  dropped .  the  tweet  is  still  up .

there’s  a  viral  video  of  a  press  conference  at  evergreen  of  hitomi  leaning  over  to  nevlyn  and  asking  who’s  that  when  supposedly  good  friday  were  brought  up .

vivienne  revealed  chang-ju  tried  shooting  his  shot  with  her  and  she  sent  back  a  voice  message  laughing .

allegedly ,  allkpop  said  two  idols  were  heard  being  intimate  in  one  of  the  dawn  studios  to  which  nirmii  quoted  the  article  and  said  “ ayo  what  the  fuck? ”

it  was  reported  that  a  few  evergreen  trainees  originally  began  working  at  suncity  before  getting  scouted .  it’s  believed  pil-sung  has  them  sleep  with  executives  or  board  members  to  get  guaranteed  spots  but  this  has  been  refuted  by  pil-sung  himself .

during  the  company  trip  in  bali ,  hitomi  accidentally  exposed  an  idol’s  relationship  after  posting  a  video  of  herself  on  the  beach  and  getting  the  couple  kissing  the  background ,  to  which  she  responded  with ,  “ not  my  fault  they  were  horny. ”
