Y'all gotta learn the difference between "TERF rhetoric" and shit that is just... literal actual feminism. TERFs are feminists, so they're gonna occasionally say shit that is actually feminist. They're just gonna throw transphobia on top of it.

Wanting women to be able to exist with leg hair and no makeup isn't TERF rhetoric, that's feminism.

They are. We cannot deny this. Radical feminism is a real part of feminist history and current feminist theory, and TERFs are part of radical feminism.

I know it's seductive to say they're not "real feminists", because then you can pretend feminist theory has never been problematic and never had bad actors, but the truth is that they are indeed feminists, and have caused damage in the name of feminism.

Plenty of the things TERFs say sounds good and cool and feminist- because it is! But then they *keep going* with some transphobic/bioessentialist garbage.

But it's too easy to hear the first half and think "oh well thats good" and so you don't really hear the second half. It's how they go stealthy and try to radicalize other people- and you NEED to be able to acknowledge that sometimes they are saying normal feminist things so that you can recognize when they use that as a ladder to the garbage.

We already have two Dragon planeswalkers and we’ve heard in world of the existence of a Sphinx planeswalker. An Angel planeswalker would need some help but as Karn shows, created creatures can become planeswalkers. A Hydra planeswalker? I’d say that’s a much lower probability.

Tormanu, the Wild Chorus

“Tormanu is here as more or less a… favor… to me,” said Ugin. “It’s obvious that Tarkir is woefully out of balance, and other matters require my attention. Tormanu’s presence should help to address that imbalance while I’m away.”

“But you have me and Narset here,” said Sarkhan. “What should we do?”

“Mostly stay out of Tormanu’s way, if you can help it,” replied Ugin. “Though you may learn a thing or two if you watch closely.”

“I still don’t understand,” scoffed Sarkhan. “What does it even do?”

Ugin thought for a moment how to explain Tormanu’s influence in a way Sarkhan’s mind would comprehend. “If a litter of dogs grew up around Tormanu, they would become wolves. That which has been domesticated becomes wild again under Tormanu’s influence.”

“But the animals here on Tarkir are more wild now than they’ve ever been!” said Sarkhan. “Or are you saying the dragons have become domesticated?”

“I’m saying the humans have been,” said Ugin. “And if they’re ever to regain their old teeth and claws and cunning, Tormanu is the one to bring it about.”

Tormanu is an ancient hydra that has lived so long that its heads eventually learned to stop snapping at one another, and achieved a level of harmony that lead to sapience and the igniting of its planeswalker spark. Speaking of fan-made planeswalkers, allow me to introduce my good friend Tormanu. (By far one of my favorite custom cards I’ve ever made.)

Planeswalker sparks ignite during an intense ordeal… How about when the Hydra’s head was chopped-off the first time and two heads emerge? and at that traumatic moment his/her/their spark ignites.

However, i think a more probable scenario is that the planeswalker is some sort of (Green) Shaman or Wizard that has a bias for hydras, and can transform into hydras… much like Sarkhan.

Perhaps in that walkers plane, something happens that threatens his home and he/she proceeds to fight back as a huge hydra (but with only one head at first). That walker’s nemesis then decapitates him/her and the hydra powers trigger along with the spark igniting.

He/she blindly planeswalk to a plane, in the middle of a city or village. The inhabitants, horrified with what just happened, attacks him and again, gets decapitated, and again more heads appear.

The new hydra planeswalker, still traumatized and clueless as to what is happening can only fight back and planeswalk out of the plane, only to appear into another plane as a berserking monster, heads keep geeting chopped of, multiplying, until he/she/they finally planeswalk into a deserted area of another plane. He/she would stay there for a long time, slowly discovering and getting a grip as to what happened. He/she can no longer transform back into human form.
