I haven't thought about it before but your comic got me thinking about Verity meeting the other horror mods too. In August's lore (so far) it's somewhat implied that he and the Player were in a relationship at some point, so I wonder if Verity would see him as even more of a threat than the Knocker or The Obsessed?

Tbh I think he'd see August and Lenny equally, since both of them are willing to kill for the player (and the player in some cases).. maybe he'd be slightly more weary on August since he doesnt know if player would want them back. As for the knocker, he doesn't see him as much as a threat to him than he does for the player, since The Knocker is mostly killing and scarng the player more than threatening them or giving them gifts for their attention, he's more of a bully than a "will they fall in love" threat. Still, these are only my hc!!
