The specialist of second male lead that never fails to deliver good bromance with the male lead. He’s tall, dark, he got talents in some foreign languages and he’s smart. He lands many types of character in drama from the comical to the romantic ones. We love Kim Ji Suk in Another Oh Hae Young and now we can watch him act as a king in the currently airing drama Rebel: Thief Who Stole The People.

The Mr. Black of dramaland with oh so manly image. He got many wonderful dramas like I Need Romance, Nine Time Travels, The Three Musketeers, The Time We Were Not In Love, and Goodbye Mr. Black. Too bad his career was tainted by his latest sexual assault scandal. Though turned out to be a false accusation, it will still affect his upright gentleman image. Out of his personal life, Lee Jin Wook is still a good actor. We’ll see how his career will turn out after the scandal.
The tallest actor in this list with 1.95 m height. We first saw him in The Classic movie where he acted as the weak awkward friend of Cho Seung Woo. Lee Ki Woo played many supporting roles in dramas like Miss Korea, Memory and Doctors where he acted as the grumpy gangster boss. We’ll see him soon this year in Woman of Dignity drama (starring Kim Sun Ah and Kim Hee Sun)
Jung Ryeo Won started her career as an idol with a girl group called Chakra. The group disbanded and she pursued her acting career. We might remember her as Hyun Bin’s ex girlfriend in the hit drama My Name in Kim Sam Soon. She has this adorable quirky image and we love her in her latest drama Bubblegum.
Jang Bo Ri’s man is here! Loved by moms and aunties, Kim Ji Hoon rose to fame with his hit weekend drama Jang Bo Ri is Here. He has this handsome yet dorky image. Some of his dramas are Flower Boys Next Door and the latest Sweet Stranger and Me.
The ex-member of fairy idol group S.E.S back in her early 20s. Now she’s a mother of adorable Rohee who currently appears on Return of Superman. We know her from the hit drama Baker King Kim Tak Goo. She has the pretty, lovely, good daughter in law image that is suitable for weekend family drama.
The man who always looks good with his little moustache. He’s perfect for revenge drama, he got this cool mysterious vibe but sadly his characters in drama always ended up dead. Our lovely ahjumma. She is so gorgeous and good in romantic comedy drama. She once got into controversy during Spy Myung Wol drama for refusing to film and running away to L.A. It was resolved, she took a hiatus for 3 years before making a comeback in 2014. Though lately she always acted as an ahjumma, we still love her in Birth of A Beauty and Madam Antoine. She’s also memorable for her innocent and adorable charm in variety show Running Man.
Kim Rae Won gained many younger fans thanks to his latest role in Doctors where he acted as a teacher turned neurosurgeon with Park Shin Hye. In his 20s he was famous for his drama My Love Patzzi and Love Story in Harvard. In his 30s, he made successful comeback in amazing drama like Punch and Doctors. We love his ordinary yet dependable image in every of his drama. He is a very talented actor and recently he’s more active in movies like Gangnam Blues, Resurrected Victims and the latest one: The Prison.
Another ex-idol in this list. Baby maknae of legendary inactive girl group Fin.K.L. We know her from drama Hong Gil Dong and Monster. She is pretty, she was born in Germany and she has worked three times with Kang Ji Hwan (Hong Gil Dong, Runway Cop and Monster). We love her in Monster where she has various charms from a kicking ass heroine to a damsel in distress.
Our favorite garbage oppa. He nailed our hearts from exactly one drama, Reply 1994. Previously Jung Woo always played supporting roles and Reply 1994 successfully brought him to stardom. He is married and lately he’s more active in movies. Hope we get to see Jung Woo in dramaland soon.
Our forever young dramaland sister that always shines in romantic comedy drama. She is beautifully petite and youthful. In her 20s she was famous and more active in China. Started from her 30, she made more regular comebacks in K-drama every year from Baby Faced Beauty, School 2013, Fated To Love You to One More Happy Ending and soon to be in production Housewife Detective. We always love Jang Na Ra’s drama as her roles are often adorable, warm-hearted and entertaining.
The tall oppa that stole our heart in that winter. Every time we see his handsome face, the wind blows in our heart. However it’s all okay coz it’s love. He’s famous in his 20s for his role in What Happened in Bali and some awesome movies like The Classic, A Dirty Carnival, and A Frozen Flower. Though it’s kinda rare to see him in dramaland, Jo In Sung has played various roles from a badass gangster to a mentally ill person in It’s Okay It’s Love where he moved our hearts with his emotional acting. We’re looking forward for more Jo In Sung in dramaland for 2017.
The queen of weird romantic comedy drama. Falling in love with an alien, a mermaid falling in love with human, only Jeon Ji Hyun is able play those roles flawlessly. She’s famous as the sassy girl in her 20s and it’s rare to see her in drama coz more active in movies. She made a comeback to dramaland with the hit drama My Love From Another Star, she’s married, had a son and returned to dramaland again as a mermaid. She is cool, sassy and perfect for romantic comedy or action projects.
Mr. dimple Lee Sang Yoon was mothers’ favorite son in law for his role in hit weekend drama My Daughter Seo Young. However we love him the most in Liar Game where he acted as the genius Woo Jin. In real life Lee Sang Yoon is also smart, he graduated from Physics major at Seoul National University. He’s good in basketball, you can see him in action at TVN’s variety show Buzzer Beater. We will also get to see him soon acting with Lee Bo Young again in new drama called Whisper.
Song Hye Kyo is legendary and maintain her popularity really well. From the classic Autumn in My Heart, the memorable Full House, That Winter The Wind Blows, to the mega hit Descendants of The Sun. She nailed all the hit drama! We love her hilarious yet adorable image in the drama. From rich to poor, sad to bubbly, blind or able to see, she can play those various roles flawlessly. Song Hye Kyo is definitely one of the gems in dramaland.
He is handsome, tall, smart and famous for his fashion style. It will be really hard to see Kang Dong Won in dramaland coz the dude finds drama filming is so stressful and he won’t be able to endure it. He is almost like a myth. We hear a lot about his awesomeness from news and movies but never really watched his acting in drama. But we read that Goblin’s writer Kim Eun Sook is on a roll to get him to dramaland, so better pray for her success.
The sunshine of our life. He hit it big in his 20s with classic drama My Girl. Some of his drama then never hit big, until Scent of A Woman. Now he can enjoy the glory again in his mid 30s thanks to his persistence and effort in pursuing role as a Grim Reaper in the latest mega hit drama Goblin. He can create great chemistry with female and even male characters. He might be famous for his stoic, sexy, cool mysterious image in drama but the dude is actually a goofball with laid-back personality in real life and variety shows. We’re looking forward for more Lee Dong Wook appearances in 2017!
