Iggy chuckled nervously at her response, how she was playing innocent when he was pretty sure she didn’t even know the meaning of the word. He liked that, but then again he found himself liking everything she was presenting to him. “Girls don’t just…” He clenched his jaw as he shrugged, squinting as he tried to think of the right words without completely roasting himself. Iggy took the pause to adjust himself, squirming in his seat as the pressure grew in his jeans, because the prospect of the tall and fit amazon woman defiling him was causing the blood to drain from his brain to help out… Elsewhere. “Flirt with me.” He finally decided on, nerves subsiding as his heart started beating faster for other reasons. “O incluso hablame, really.” Of course there was always a steady stream of women coming to see the guys working in the shop, but the most Iggy ever received was a shy giggle or, if he was lucky, an accidental flirtatious remark from Naomi– But this felt like the beginning of a porno: ungodly, sexy woman needs her computer fixed by lowly computer nerd. “Defile me? Desearia que lo hicieras.” He pursed his lips trying to hide the chubby cheeked smile that had taken up residence on his face. “Me llamo Ignacio, but everyone calls me Iggy.”

Pushing herself off the desk, Everette wandered around to Iggy’s side before taking a seat on the edge again, modesty dash on the rocks as she leaned with her legs open. “ Still got no clue what you’re saying, sweetheart, but if it’s as naughty as it sounds, I’m into it.” She smiled. “Iggy, huh? Like Iggy Pop? Cool. I’m Everette.” She stuck her hand out to greet him formally, but one foot was moving to turn his chair towards her, swinging her leg over his once she had enough room and parking on the ground between his legs firmly. “ You like bikes, Iggy? I got a girl parked outside with a real nice ride to her that I think you’d like. “ I can give you a ride and maybe you can return the favor?”

Tomasz didn’t necessarily like drinking, but it was one of the only things that made his guilt fade into the background when it became too much to handle. He didn’t drink often, but when he did, he tended to go overboard, and tonight was no different. He wasn’t drunk yet, but he fully had the intentions of getting so, even though he knew it wasn’t a “healthy coping mechanism.” He was barely on his second whiskey (on the rocks, of course!) when a scrap broke out between two actually drunk men. Sighing, Tomasz got up, rolled up his sleeves, and prepared to intervene…

…only to find himself standing outside ten minutes later, holding a bag of ice to his nose. He looked at a person about to enter, nodding his head at them.

“I’d give it five minutes. Things are still pretty crazy in there,” he warned.

Too much of her time was spent in bars and clubs. If she wasn’t working in them she was drinking in them. Tonight was the former as she got an SOS text from a friend who needed extra help on the job, some fight having broken out. It was enough to have the blonde peeling off on her bike, not being far from the location and ready to cover the door. As she parked right in front of it, she noticed someone sitting looking pretty beat up. “Looks like you lost the fight, buddy.” She chuckled from behind her helmet. One the low rumble stopped, she dismounted and made her way to the man as she removed her protective gear. “ Lemme get a look at you.” She sighed, not expecting to play nurse and bouncer. ” What happened in there -- you get rowdy when someone grabbed your cocktail or what?”

Looking at herself in the mirror, it took every ounce of willpower in Alyssa not to take her makeup off and crawl back under the comfort of her duvet. The only thing that stopped her from doing so was the unbearable thought of breaking the promise she made to one of her childhood best friends that she’d grab a drink with him - no, she’s too proud to let anyone from her past see how much of an introvert she’d really become. Still, there’s an uneasy feeling in the pit of the woman’s stomach; Alyssa hadn’t been on a night out since she came home from Massachusettes, making that 2 and a half years since she’d been out on the town. Hell, she didn’t even remember what it was like to hold a conversation with anyone other than her classmates and her family at this point, much less what it felt like to do so inebriated.

Sighing and taking one last defeated glance in the mirror, she took off and arrived at the bar in less than 10 minutes. She noted how packed it was and how people seemed to flock in groups, making her feel more of an outsider as she made her way to the bar. Sitting down and ordering a martini, she felt her phone vibrate just as she took her first sip - it was a text from her friend. “Sorry, something came up. Can’t make it. :-( ” She stared at her phone for a few seconds before feeling extremely sorry for herself and deleting her friend’s number. Downing her drink, she grabbed her things and was planning to go back home when she bumped into someone in her haste, spilling their drink on the floor. “Oh fuck! I mean - uh - I’m so sorry! Please let me buy you another drink. Are you okay?” Aly asked, turning beet red and wishing the ground would just open up and eat her right now.

Having just worked until six AM the night before, one would think that Everette would have been taking the night off to relax and regulate her sleeping pattern, not head to another club, and yet hear she was. Extroverted to the point of madness, Everette hated being cooped up inside her place and hated being alone even more. Even if all her friends were busy, there was the comfort of being in a place so jam packed that you could always make new friends. The music helped too.

Beer in hand , Everette swayed along the floor, having taken a few songs to mingle with frat boys and do shots before deciding to take a sitting break. It was as she saw the bar in sight and some free stools that she felt someone collide with her.  Mostly her own for fault for not paying attention in her slightly inebriated state, she was had’y as mad as the woman made it seem. In fact she looked like she was having an anxiety attack over it. Instincts kicked in as Ev put her hands on the woman’s shoulder and gently moved her away from the broken glass before attempting to sooth her. “ It’s okay, it’s fine, just breathe. It’s just a glass, they have a thousand more back their, I’m sure. You okay, honey?” She asked softly. Upon closer inspection the woman looked a little bothered, prompting Ev to glance around to see if anyone was leering or looking suspicious. “ Nobody spooked you, did they?”

Cassie had sung her heart out to Guns n Roses, getting way too into it with a stranger that was stood vaguely near her. There was a stupidly excellent sense of camraderie in this place and she never wanted it to stop, but the song ended and she went to the bar while there was no queue and people were out of their seats, stealing one. She looked sideways at the woman and grinned. “I like you.” Cassie told the woman with a grin. “Ooh! Lets do lemon drops!”

Hands drummed on the bat as Everette looked over the petite woman. She seemed game, so Ev eagerly called out to the man behind the bar all  way at the other end chatting with someone. “ Hey? Can a girl get some drinks over here or are you changing your tampon?” She chuckled, getting the man’s attention along with an eye roll before turning back to the woman. “ Lemon drops, huh? That’s cute. You sure buying you a drink isn’t gonna get me thrown in girl, honey? I feel like I need to see some I.D. first. And I’m a bouncer so I can spot a fake a mile away, so no funny stuff.” Ev teased.

Sam had been firmly cemented to her floor, with the contents of her current case file sprawled around her when Everette called on her. It had taken a fair amount of convincing for her to leave her work, but the promise of a good fight got out of the front door. Yet even at the gym, she couldn’t quite get her mind off the case. Separating her work life from the rest of her life. It was the one thing she wasn’t that great at. Her work was her life and it seemed to take up almost every waking moment of it. Like when she was sparring, at the the seemingly odd connection between the two victims kept on pulling her focus. It was clear she wasn’t giving it her all, her defense weak and her attacks flimsy as she continued turning the case over in her mind. It wasn’t until she was flipped to the floor that she properly snapped back into the real world. “How many times do I gotta tell you it’s Sam” she grumbled, sitting up and wiping her face with her arm. “Just thinkin’ about my case, nothin’ that new.” Grunting a little, she hopped back up. “I’m good.”

There was a wicked hint of a grin on Everette’s face as the cop corrected her. In most cases, Ev just liked to rile her up by teasing her, but this time around she had motive. Sam was holding back and she could tell. With hope, her pestering would ignite the woman’s temper enough to give her all in the sparring match and hopefully help her get out the real aggression laying underneath whatever facade she was putting up. “Aww, what’s the matter, Officer? Can’t take a little teasing? Thought they taught you all to be tougher than that at cop school. You’re not gonna cry on me, are you?” the woman taunted, hoping to push Sam’s buttons. She didn’t mind taking a punch to the face for it, but Everette really didn’t do ‘girl talk’. The only way she knew to get Sam talking it to press her until she exploded. “ What’s this case about? Did some perp call you Sammie and it hurt your feelings?”

Hallie was a horrible flirt, and clearly she was horrible at having other people trying to flirt with her first. She just couldn’t seem to get over it. “You do? That’s pretty cool,” she said. She always appreciated coming across other people who worked out like that. “Yeah I guess so,” she said with a small smile. Smiling, Ev sat her beer down and shrugged as she leaned one arm on the bar. “ Me? A little bit of everything, honestly. I worked as a personal trainer for a while, did the whole stunts thing in Hollywood... I get a few gigs around her as personal security these days, it pays the bills.” She shrugged again. “ What about you? What do you do? I mean, besides being professionally gorgeous...”

Iggy bit his bottom lip as the woman tucked a stray tendril of hair behind his ear, even her simple touch driving him wild as his mind started to wander to the fact that the office was empty, and he could have easily pulled her into his lap right then and there. Or bent her over the desk, or found an empty car that wasn’t being worked on at the moment. Hell he would have let her sling him over her shoulder, and take him to wherever her heart desired. He wished she would. Iggy had to take a deep breath to calm himself, his trembling hands ceasing work as he cocked his head to the side to get a good look at her in all of her extremely close glory. “D-Did someone put you up to this?” He asked, hopeful that her answer would be no, but nervous that it was yes. “Es esto un sueno humedo?”

She could swear she saw a sweat break on the guy’s face, Ev biting her lip to keep from giggling at how cute it was. Perching herself on the edge of the desk, she had no shame in flirting to pass the time while he fixed her laptop, preferring it by far to sitting and reading a magazine from five years ago in the waiting room. A good beer and classic tunes was the perfect way to spend the evening. “I don’t.” Iggy admitted absentmindedly as he fought the burning urge to stare at the woman’s proudly displayed cleavage.
