completely sold out in less than 2 minutes, congratulations!! i managed to snag pencil puppy, i'm so excited to give them a home! i do a lot of longhand writing & i hope they'll be up to the task of holding my fountain pen while i ruminate. <3

new friend got home safe & sound! they're a lil too small to fit most fountain pens (they are a puppy after all, not a full grown pencil dog), but they're the PERFECT size to hang onto dip pens & brushes!

Today is my husband and my 15th wedding anniversary, so I decided to make a moth for us out of my wedding dress. The adornment on their back is a turn of the century citrine brooch. It belonged to my great grandmother and was gifted to me by my mother so that I could wear it at my wedding. I don’t know what to name them. Maybe I’ll give them the Renesmee treatment and call them Dolly (combo of Dan and Molly). This one won’t be for sale, but if you have wedding attire or other memento fabrics you would like mothed, I’m your guy!

When it comes to dragons’ hoards, “Look, Don’t Touch” is the cardinal rule. You might think the “Don’t Touch” is the most important part about that credo, but that’s because you’ve never offended a dragon by not being impressed enough by his hoard. You MUST come prepared to gush.

Day two of Furrydelphia is here! We’re open 10-6 today, and while I may be low on felted work I have lots of yummy hand dyed DIY materials and yarn! I’d love to yap at you all about felting and spinning, so come say hi!

Aahhh!! I got my little guys today and I love them SO MUCH. The packaging was impeccable and the little art extras were so cute! Also I’m sure it’s because they were in a hot UPS truck all day but when I finally unwrapped them they were very warm to the to touch, it was honestly a little uncanny (in a good way.)

I managed to get the shapely sugarbowl into my cart but tragically someone else checked out faster than me. 😭 they won fair and square tho, respect for the hustle. congrats on such a successful shop drop! I ended up snagging one of the lovely little stego guys instead. If you make more pieces in the style of that sugar bowl in the future I would be thrilled to buy one! I was so enchanted by it. I’m sure it will be well loved in its new home!

I have some more shapely extended family creatures in the works! I'll definitely be sure to have more of the various spoon tongue and toothy jar creatures next update haha. I hope you enjoy the tiny stegosaurus and may it be joined by a shapely creature some day!

Fat Horse No. 32

It’s the year of the horse and I’ve always been a horse girl at heart, so I’m finally taking advantage of the excuse to fill the world with fat little horses! These felted friends are about the size (and shape!) of an apple, and if you happen to have any apples to share I’m sure they’d help you out! This horse was inspired by Ronny, a gorgeous 18 hand Belgian draft who visited Anthrocon this year with the charity. He was an absolute delight, and there’s nothing quite like seeing an actual horse walking out of the den at the end of the day!

This piece will be part of a herd of fat horses at Furrydelphia, August 7-9th!

As promised, here's a map of the den showing you where to find me (and more importantly, fat horses) at Furrydelphia! The main entrance leads into a larger room that will be all booths, but directly to your right will be a door into a smaller room - I'm in there! Definitely come say hi if you can, I can't wait to see everyone this weekend!

Everything is finally packed! I'll drop them off tomorrow morning except for a couple that need bigger boxes (added too layers of protective packaging.) Will now get back to art making and answer some of the many asks in my inbox. Even if I can't respond to everything, thank you for all the nice messages!🦎
