Suicide is never the answer

My little cousin Jayden. Only eleven. She is just a baby. She hung herself from her bed on Wednesday and has been in the hospital since. She has severe brain damage and if she pulls through she will be mentally retarded the rest of her life. Suicide is never the answer. I have family here I haven’t seen in years. All at my grandparents house where we all have thanksgiving. Where I grew up and only have happy memories off. We are just waiting for news. We’ve already fixed all the problems in the house and are building a new bridge in the back over the crick for grandma. Suicide is never the answer. The amount of pain in this house right now. The amount of pain in this family. Suicide is never the answer. No one really knows how bad the effects are until they see it first-hand like this. Every one has someone to love them. Everyone has someone to care for them. I’ve spent so much time trying to help you people and then this happens. Suicide is never the answer. Please talk to me if you’re hurting. Or if you’re sad or angry. But please for the love of all things. Don’t put your family through this. Suicide is never the answer.

I understand it’s very hard to change the way you feel, the heart wrenching depression that becomes so overwhelming the world feels so small and against you… but i want everybody to know it’s not!, even in the dark times, there’s always a chance for some light to leak in.. if anybody ever needs to talk, please contact me, change starts when you reach out, i wish i could find all of you and make you feel better, but unless you ask, there’s nothing i can do! :(… but fret not, i’m here for you or you or you… nomatter what!

There is more than enough love in this world for everyone. No one person on this planet is exempt. You might not find it around you immediately, but there will always be people like the above who will share it with open arms and so will I. I don’t have many followers, and I’m not a therapist, but I will always lend an understanding ear. I have crawled into the depths into depression, I have had my “out plan” set in stone. And now I have the strength to not only carry myself out of the deep, but enough to lend my hand to another. So anyone that reads this, feel free to reach out to me. I wont ever tell you to get over it, I won’t condescend, I won’t judge, I’ll listen and give you love, respect, and hopefully happiness.

The doctors have taken Jayden off of the breathing machine.

Update. Its been awhile. Last Saturday we had a benefit for Jayden. We raised a couple thousand dollars for the family. People donated things they had bought. Things they owned. And a large share of folks who owned or ran home businesses closed shop for some time to build up demand on certain products or services to raise the price and help our little girl. It makes my heart swell to see people fo such good for our family. People still call and ask for updates. On her and me. And I still get messages and emails. There is still kindness in the world. People are still good. Albeit Jayden has a long road ahead, but she has good people behind her back.

Update She moves her eyes around now. She stares in the general direction of what she wants if she wants anything. But before the accident she could’ve just got her own food or water. She didn’t have to be changed. She could use a bathroom. Everyone, suicide is never the answer. I hope you or a loved one never know the pain of seeing someone you care about fade away. I love you all for reposting. Thank you.

Update, she is hospital bed and wheelchair ridden the rest of her life. But she is alive and we are thankful every day. Thank you all who have messaged me or reposted or done anything relevant. Thank you to @exhale-the-steam for being a good friend as a complete stranger. It's been a rough go. But we have our whole lives to help change someone else's.
