i would like to personally especially now thank the boosh boys for creating a show with canonical trans, bisexual and gay characters, and not making it the complete focal point of them. it’s just a part of who they are. god bless shows like the mighty boosh, honestly

I love Noel and Michael so much. They have such an interesting sibling dynamic. Michael looks up to Noel so much, which is so touching. Noel often teases Michael and basically treats him like the little brother he is, but then Noel can be affectionate with Michael, such as at the end of the live show when Noel hugs Michael and kisses his cheek. Or when Noel starts crying because Michael is. The fact is, Noel’s absolute biggest fan is Michael. Nobody can see Noel in a better light than Michael. And Noel encourages Michael, trying to show him that he’s just as funny and talented, but no matter what, Michael will always look up to Noel (not a pun on the height difference, heh). The point is, they have such a beautiful connection. They’re true brothers. Noel may tease and treat Michael like little brother (calling him “twerp” and such) but Noel protects him and takes care of him and, at the end of the day, shows how much he loves him. And Michael has the sweetest adoration for his brother, always saying, “Oh, I’m not as funny as Noel, no matter what he tells me” or simply looking for Noel’s approval, such as when he makes a joke and he looks to see if Noel is laughing. It’s so endearing.
