Can you explain the Dream contavercy to me? Not the cheating part, the other part. I'm not in the MCYT fandom but I'm seeing conflicting posts on this website saying things like he is neurodivergent and pro LGBTQ+ and then a different post saying he's against neurodiversity and racists. What is the truth, I hate not knowing. Thank you so much for even reading this.
Alright so first of all, I’m gonna preface this saying that this is gonna be the only post I make regarding Dream and the discourse surrounding him (besides the post I had reblogged earlier) as I wanna keep this blog as discourse-free as possible. The main reason I wanna make this post is to inform others about the whole thing and I even encourage people who are fans of Dream to read this rather than turning a blind eye.
So big point of contention from what I've heard is that Tommyinnit, a player on the dsmp server and one of Dream's friends, is a minor (16 I believe?) and has publicly stated that he is very uncomfortable being sexualised and having fans draw/write porn of him. He had even asked Dream to tell his fans to stop. Dream, instead, told his fans that he and his friends "don't care" about what people draw and write about them, despite Tommy's contradicting statements. Honestly, that alone should be enough to convince you that he's kinda shitty, but if not, here’s a screenshot of a Twitter thread regarding the R-slur (the Tweets have been deleted, apparently him deleting Tweets is very common).
He’s also done a collab with Notch. You know, the shitty white supremacist who was so bad that Microsoft banned him from their Minecraft 10 Year Anniversary Party and had all traces of him deleted out of the code of Minecraft? Yeah, that Notch. And this wasn’t before Notch’s notoriety and bigotry became well-known, this was in 2020, when everyone knew how bad Notch is.

I also can’t say for certain if Dream is ADHD or autistic, but whether he is neurodivergent or not, that does not excuse any of this. It also doesn’t help his case that his “mascot” is obviously very much inspired by Cryoatic, another Youtuber who admitted to being a pedophile in early 2020, but that’s another can of worms that I don’t feel like opening right now, much less on this blog.
I’m gonna end this post here because it’s getting longer than I want it to, but TL;DR: Dream has no problem rubbing elbows with people who are known to be shitty, and ignores the problems his underage friend has with NSFW content being made of him.
again, sorry to bring this up again, but this isnt about dream cheating his speedrun, or him saying something about how not all stans are bad, this is about him calling autistic people babies when they were (rightfully) upset that he used the r slur, and the fact that he’s friends with pewdiepie who is a known neo-nazi, along with the fact that he gave his fandom the OK to draw porn of him and his friends even though one of his friends is 15. do not fucking follow me if you can excuse ANY of this.

Unfortunately, I'm gonna have to say no. I already have a lot to work with by making boards of the (currently) 64 mobs in vanilla Minecraft... with the added goal of making boards for their variants (white sheep, pink sheep, black sheep, etc.).
I might open requests for mod mobs in the future, once I've caught up and everything; but that definitely won't be happening anytime soon. If it does happen though, I'll be sure to make an announcement!
