Hello can I interest you in a short story about my characters

Galen is a bright young man living in a small village, apprenticed to a talented healer named Avairan. He feels that over the past few months of their acquaintance they've gotten to know one another quite well. He believes they understand one another in a way that only two people with the same calling can. That belief is why it takes him by such surprise one morning to find that maybe he doesn't know his mentor quite as well as he thought he did.

Or, Galen finds out Avairan has been married (?) for years and it's not that he kept it a secret, per se, he's just not that forthcoming about, well…anything.

I'm SO excited to finally share these pieces I created for D&D's Ravenloft: The Horrors Within.

This project was such a huge honor to work on. I remember as a kid looking through the players manuals & doing little studies of the artwork in there, so this feels a bit full-circle. You can get a peek at higher-res versions of them on my insta!
