Went outside and just enjoyed the sunlight for the first time in...long enough that I don't want to admit. We were approved for an apartment, but we're still waiting for it to be finished.
In the meantime, we'll enjoy the birdsong in Georgia.
So, life update. Upon the day that marked my 40th year upon this rock hurling its way through space, my family (Mom, older sis, and cats) drove from Florida to Georgia in a move of Fuck It proportions.
We're currently staying with my nephew and his family while we look for a new apartment. Fur babies are with a pet sitter this week, so here's hoping we get a place before that's over.
This isn't my first time leaving Florida, but it is the first time I've more permanently moved out of state. Lived in Chicago for three months when I was 18, but that was never meant to be permanent. I have a lot of feelings, but so far Georgia is beautiful and there are a lot of things around I want to do and see.
Looking at you, Georgia Aquarium.

Filed an application for disability because, well, I'm falling apart. One of the things I complain about is the constant pain in my hands and wrists. So what does the government send me? Four, FOUR packs of paperwork to be filled out by hand.
Thank fuck I had my mother and sister to help me.
Well I just spent the entire week of Thanksgiving (Mon to Sat) in the hospital, how was everyone else's week?
Sure, because I JUST landed a new job, I end up in the hospital again and have to stay overnight. FUCK.
It's so nice to see Belladonna tolerate Jareth lol. I think he tried to groom her, but decided against it when she kinda just stared at him. Still progress.
He doesn't fit in my bra anymore, but he is forever 'Titty kitty', my fluffy little Goblin King lol. Belladonna tolerates him pretty well, especially now that he's the only kitten left. The girls went to a home together while mama cat and Vlad went to the local ASPCA. I absolutely cried both times. We wanted so badly to keep all the kittens, but that wasn't practical.
I JUST realized I haven't siad anything on tumblr yet so hi! I am officially unemployed as of this week and am about to be kicked out of my apartment in the next day or so!
Things have been really stressful lately and I'm currently trying to move what I carry across NC, where some family are willing to let me stay temporarily. So if you'd like to donate/help while I try to find a new job/home I have a ko-fi available!

Life update: I just found a new apartment and started a new job! Bad news is that I had to use all the money I had left for the apartment so I'm very broke sooo I'm sharing this again.

31 Days of Halloween final notes.
Well, I didn't hit all 31 days, but it was something I tried to just give me something to do to pull myself out of this slump. I did watch some new stuff and some old favorites. Loved the two Mononoke movies, and I can't wait for the third one. I might extend unofficially into November and watch some Vincent Price movies with my mom.

I posted a picture of my Void Baby, Belladonna for National Black Cat day and forgot to post one here!!
My mom found her about 10 days before Halloween back in 2016 or 17 as a kitten outside she'd mistaken for someone's decoration because she was sitting next to a bunch of pumpkins, all puffed up until she started hissing. Mom was walking our dog at the time, brought the dog back inside, then returned. When the kitten saw Mom without the dog, she immediately ran up and began rubbing on Mom's legs.
She and my sister said I HAD to keep her, cause every witch needed a black cat lol

Gonna have to put this on hold until Halloween itself, as I'm dealing with a very frustrating medical issue that I am resisting going to the hospital for, so I'm not really in the mood to watch any movies or shows at all past random YouTube videos.
