Day#8 Music

I want to increase my catalog of songs related to autumn, so I made a brand new playlist!!

I went looking online for recommendations, looked at autumn themed playlists online and randomly added some songs to this playlist. 

Some songs I already knew and love, others are still waiting for my seal of approval. If you want some good autumn songs to chill, go check it out!

Day#7 Drawing

Day#5 Writing

This is the first time I tried writing a poem.  I thought it would be harder as I’m terribly scared to write something and not be satisfied with it, but it was easy when I found a rhythm and a cadence to the process. I’ll be more confident next time I try to write. I always wanted to write and tell good stories but it’s very hard for me to express myself in words. I’m definitely going to post more of my writings here in the future! Hope y’all like it!  (´｡• ω •｡`)

Day#4 Breadmaking

This was definitely a process and I want to learn it because it screams Autumn Time! It had MANY ups and downs, but I made it through! I followed Sally’s Baking Addiction recipe and I’ve manege to do almost everything wrong   (｡T ω T｡) 

I won’t bore you with all the details but the quick summary is: - I used the wrong flour (I didn’t find it in the market) - I used the wrong quantity of yeast  - I didn’t proof it enough  - I didn’t pre-heat my oven long enough BUT IT IS EATABLE AND somewhat GOOD My girlfriend said she liked but I think she only said that to make me happy  ♡(｡- ω -) Although very hard, I loved doing bread and I think next time it will be better! I’ll keep y’all updated!

Day#3 Candles

Did you know that our most powerful sense is smell?

I’ve read somewhere that the sense of smell is closely linked with memory and emotion, and I believe is true because I know that when I smell scented candles with lavender, wood, apple, maple, pumpkin, cinnamon, etc on them, I’m immediately transported to Autumn, no matter the weather or the occasion! Someday in the future I hope to learn how to make candles and do my own scented candles! 

Wouldn’t that be amazing?

Day #2 Mushroom

Aesthetics Edition

I’ll still talk about edible mushrooms and the ways to cook them, but for now I’ll talk about the ~aesthetic~ of mushrooms and most importantly: The Amanita Muscaria

And of course one of the most iconic mushrooms is the one you cannot eat.  If you were to eat it, you’d probably die, so please don’t!

But although we can’t eat it, we can admire it. And of course the mushroom aesthetics is very essential to the autumn vibe. My explanation to why is probably because people go mushroom picking in the forest and this is something I need to do someday in my life! Everytime I mention mushrooms to my grandma she always recalls how she would go catch mushrooms in the forest when she was younger, and I want to know how it feels like.

Meanwhile, I’ll draw frogs resting under mushrooms to past the time

Day #1 Planning

Today was a day to plan and make a list of things that remind me of autumn. I listed a guideline for me to know what I want to talk about and research in the next 100 days.

The list may change (it will certainly change) and it is only meant as a guide for me and it’s no particular order.
