favorite things about iceburg?

Where do I begin...

1. I love that he has a vocal quirk that is amusing in all instances and translations. Whether it's the mwell or oh my it's just a cute little touch that isn't super bizarre and is oddly polite.

2. I love how much he treats the city like his family and wants the best for them and in turn they all rally around him. Like... the strawhats were gonna get got so bad when they were assumed the attackers. That man is so beloved.

3. I love that he fucking picked a mouse up and named it tyrannosaurus and shoved him in his pocket. Legend. Icon.

4. I love that he puts in the work even after he's mayor. He could just move into his office and be a hot shot and never do construction again but he does. He's a builder at heart and he never loses the touch of it like Tom.

5. He looks like he pays his mortgage on time monthly and even pays a little extra to be financially responsible and it just does something for me. Love a responsible king.

what do you think iceburg is doing right now - what's he up to while the strawhats wreak havoc in wano?

I think he's still working on making the island float with the assistance of Paulie and the others. It's a pretty big project so it'll take a real hot minute to get done. Now, does that mean he isn't keeping track of the strawhats and all their nonsense? Of course not. He's like a proud uncle to most of them and also just likes knowing what Franky is up to. I imagine it even gets an "oh my" out of him.

HI! I don't know when you sent this anon but I'm sorry for not replying until now I didn't get the notifs for it.

5. Starting from 5 down to 1--we got the cute lil glasses Iceburg whom I love dearly and wish to bop his nose. It's just a nice little panel of him at work and his expression kills me.

4. I really like this look back he has at Kokoro, it is just very sweet and I get really emotional about them having a drink for something nice instead of painful.

3. Idk his face is just really cute here. He's little and eating and happy with his family even if Franky is pretending to be a little loner.

2. Pain™️ I think I've written a dissertation on this before somewhere but I really just love the way he lashes out here because he doesn't mean it but also he does. It's just a very devastating time in his life to lose his parental figure because of the happenstance pushed forward by another.

1. And my number one is the resolution of 2! This scene made me openly weep on my couch my first watch of OP and it still stays warmly in my heart. He's really just happy to have him alive despite his declaration all those years ago. That's his family and he didn't want to lose more of it.
