The story of Ahmed Al-Saidi

My name is Ahmed AlSaidi, I currently live in Gaza Strip under this horrifying war with my wife, 3 children, my elderly parents and my brothers Osama, Moatasim, and Mohammed with their families.

We once lived in safety and peace, each having their own home which provided us with happiness, warmth, and love. I was working as a dental technician and supporting my family.

But after the war started on the 7th of October, we were under bombing, dead bodies were every where, so we were forced to leave our house a night before it was under bombing, it was a miracle that we remained alive. We were forced to be displaced many times and now we live in tents in Deir al-Balah. Our conditions now are miserable and unhuman without any income and thus we are unable to provide life essentials to our families such as medicine, clothing, cleaning products and food for our children. Every thing becomes more expensive. The lack of hygiene, water and living in tents with sand and insects caused a lot of diseases, like skin rash, hepatitis b, fever, and cold.

This horrific war destroyed our lives, taking away our homes, jobs, safety, and tragically claiming many of our relatives. So we created this campaign to:

1_Provide medical care for my eldery parents who are suffering from many chronic diseases, high blood pressure, and heart problems.

2. Provide urgent health treatment to Qusay, a 4 years old child who has speech problem and need psychological and speech therapy.

3. Provide essential living needs to survive, like food, clothes, water to drink, and medicine.

4. Winter is coming and we urgently need to move from the tents and rent a house to protect our children from cold.

Welcome; I am Nasser Abu Akar, 23years old, a survivor of five wars, from the Gaza Strip - occupied Palestine, and this is my beautiful family, my father Muhammad (martyr), my mother Indira, my brothers Haitham, Fayez, Fayek, Ahmed and Farid and 4 sisters, a family full of love and peace, a family that is accustomed to living In her warm little house. We lived our lives in the Gaza Strip, a life full of wars and conflicts, a very harsh life, and we went through many painful and harsh experiences. We suffered from devastating wars, poverty and severe siege. But despite this, we maintained love in our hearts and purity in our souls, and until what happened during the past six months, we faced situations that cannot be described in words. Horrible things happened, situations that no one could bear. We lost our small house and had to move to another area (in the camps), leaving our dreams, our love, and even our lives in the rubble. What a difficult life we face now, a life full of pain, poverty and displacement. All our dreams have turned into only one dream, which is to survive, but deep in our hearts we still have a glimmer of hope. There is a small speck of light in the midst of this absolute darkness. We have survived (so far). My father did not survive. The occupation killed him, may God have mercy on him. But we believe in the saying, “I don’t want to live, I want to survive.” There is a big difference between them. In order to preserve our lives after my father’s death, we must leave the Gaza Strip to a safe place, a place that will restore to us the humanity we have lost, which means saving the lives of ten people, along with thousands of dreams and dreams. Ambitions. Our support means we're not just numbers breaking news, and we're not just anonymous victims. Our support means that ten lives will not be mentioned in the casualty statistics. This means that there are ten people who will not stand in line for long hours just to get a loaf of bread, or a bottle of water. . This support will save lives, and what is more important in the world than saving a life? My name is Mohamed Saqr, and just a short time ago, my family and I were living a life full of hope and stability in Gaza. We had worked hard for everything we had – multiple homes, a farm, and several successful businesses. Life was good, and we were building a future for ourselves. My brother, 24, recently married, and we were both proud of the lives we had built. But all of that changed in a heartbeat when the war began on October 7th.

this is my brother, Motaz Saqr, who had to undergo surgery in his stomach due to the pollution we are exposed to daily.

This is my house, before and after, im newly married and this was the house we were supposed to live in but the war happened and it turned into rubble since the war.

Since that day, everything we knew has been taken away from us. We were forced to flee our homes, leaving behind everything we had worked for. We lost our homes, our farm, and our businesses. Now, my family and I are constantly on the move, trying to find safety and shelter wherever we can. The fear we live with every day is unimaginable. We move from one camp to another, never knowing when or where the next attack might come. My brother’s children cry every night, scared of the loud explosions that seem to be getting closer with each passing day.

This is my brother’a daughter, this is the condition we are living in during the war.

Every day is a struggle just to survive. Food, water, and medicine are scarce, and we never know if the next meal will come. My wife, my brother, his wife, and their children are doing everything we can to stay strong, but it’s getting harder by the day. We’ve lost so much, but the hardest part is the constant fear for our lives. We’ve already witnessed too much destruction, and we know the situation could get even worse.

We started this GoFundMe because we need help. We need funds not only to survive but also to try and escape Gaza before it’s too late. We are asking for your support – anything you can give will make a huge difference in our lives. Bee's had a hysterectomy!!

I try not to get personal on this blog, but i thought it'd be fun to share the great news in this way. I've in recovery from having my hysterectomy today! I'm very fortunate, and surrounded by love and support. I do apologize for the inactivity on this blog, but as I get back on my feet, I do plan to finally get the queue going again. Hope you're all doing well, and know I haven't forgotten about you all. The love for Bee is still strong!!

Since the first day of the war, we have been suffering from this crazy war. We left our home without anything significant, except for the clothes we wear. We moved a lot until we reached the place we live now in Deir Al balah, in the south of the Gaza Strip, with my large family, which consists of 100 people, more than two-thirds of whom are children. Our house was bombed and completely destroyed. Today we live the struggle of life with unbearable fear and cold. I hope that my family and I can travel outside the Gaza Strip until this massacre ends.

I ask you to help my family in the Gaza Strip so that they can secure their daily needs after they leave our home in northern Gaza to southern Gaza. I have a big family, consisting of my father, mother, five brothers and six sisters, all of whom are married and have children. They’re 62 people.

We are a small family consisting of 3 members. We lived a beautiful life. I worked as a lawyer and my husband worked in programming. We lived in peace and security before October 7, but since that time we have not lived a single fine day. We were in our house at the beginning of the war, but We have Ahtaho Khan Yunis.
