SHILOH.Â
the night had not been kind to shiloh. between tossing and turning and not being able to fall asleep, shiloh had given up completely, venturing out of the tent to just walk around the campgrounds until she saw the sun coming up over the horizon. she hadnât figured to return to the groupâs campsite until she felt her stomach grumble with hunger. the fire caught her eye first, glad that at least someone else was awake, but she hesitated slightly when she saw that it was evie. their last conversation hadnât been the best, but it wasnât the worst, either. shiloh took a deep breath before continuing to walk over to the fire, taking a seat on the ground next to evie. â good morning, â she said simply, doing her best to put on a sincere smile.
brown eyes darted to the side to look at shiloh as she was seated. it wasnât exactly how she wanted to start her morning, but at least sheâd already had some time to herself. leaning forward, she grabbed another mug, pouring some of the freshly brewed coffee into it. theyâd have a better chance at actually getting some food and substantial coffee if they got started before the guys woke up. setting the chemex down, she handed the freshly pour mug of coffee to shiloh. an olive branch of sorts - though words didnât accompany the gesture. she stood, rustling around as quietly as possible to find the largest pot they brought. âhave you ever made oatmeal on a campfire before?â she asked the other girl, setting the pot over the fire before filling it with water. once she located the dry oats, she added them in, too.Â
