For the briefest of moments he felt panic start to settle in that this might all be too much of a surprise but his heart knows that this is what they both want more than anything. Their parting had been painful in all the ways a person can experience and now that they are reunited an equal force of pure joy fills him. "Tis true I am a poor navigator but that’s why I have mon coeur with me.” Robin’s nose brushes hers in return before she’s pulling back and officially welcoming him home.

This kiss ranks right up there with their first kiss as his favorite simply because in both instances he is the happiest he has ever felt. She truly completes him, and he’s finally home in her arms where he’s meant to be. With her arms wound about his neck his effortlessly ensnare her waist holding her close to his chest. A sweet playful kiss later he can’t help but smile as if she’s the one that filled the heavens with stars; all but one. She’s here with him rather than shining her radiance down upon them and for that he’s eternally grateful.

He’s just about to pour months of missing moments with her into a deep lingering kiss when there’s a soft knock and he’s reminded that they might be traumatizing their children. Theirs. That thought gives him a little thrill as the boys invade the room with all the energy and excitement in tow. Robin came over to stand beside Henry wrapping an arm about the older boys shoulders. “I vowed that we would not be gone long if I had any say about it, and they were more than eager to help me once I managed juggling a few things.” He hugs Henry to his side. ‘I don’t know what plans we might have interrupted but I’m sure we can cook up something together for dinner. Well, at least offer to help seeing as I am best for reaching for things in cabinets.“

Henry giggles, "And I do chopping!” Roland squeals as he hugs Regina. “I mix!”

She laughed as her three boys chorused what all they could bring to the table; her heart swelling with love for them. She tapped Roland on the nose as she turned to Robin and Henry, “I was thinking we’d go out to celebrate our little family reunion... but if you’re all up to it, I suppose we could see what’s in the kitchen. Maybe whip up a lasagna if we have all the supplies?” Henry’s eyes went wide as he nodded emphatically and Roland struggled down to follow his brother down to the kitchen in a thundering of feet.

Regina waited until they were gone before she turned to Robin, stepping back into his arms as her hands slid up his chest to the lapels of his shirt and held on, “Let’s pick this up a little later? Once the boys are in bed and we can lock the door?” She leaned up to press a slow, deliberately teasing kiss to his mouth before she pulled back and winked at him before heading down the stairs towards their boys. She walked into the kitchen as Henry started pulling a mix of cheeses and meat from the refrigerator while Roland bounced on his toes looking between them anxiously.

“Does Gina make good sagna, Henry?” Henry turned to him with a wide grin, “Mom makes the BEST lasagna.” Regina chuckled and ran a over each boy’s heads before crouching down a bit to look at them, “I have a very important task for you two...” Once she was certain she had their attention, she continued, “Go wash your hands...” The boys darted off as she called out after them, “With soap!”

She reached out for her apron, wrapping it around her waist and tying it as she pulled out a few more ingredients and began to organize them in order of what needed to be prepared first.

It felt beyond incredible to be holding her again, and his senses are alive absorbing every detail of their reunion. Robin leaned his cheek into her touch sighing softly as the warmth of her hand permeated his skin. Their lips meet in a soft kiss that is not nearly enough to satiate the need of her yet its absolutely perfect. "I hadn’t meant to make you worry that Roland had pulled a Sleepless in Seattle with Henry’s help but I didn’t quite know what Henry wanted for us to do.” There he chuckles, “And frankly I hadn’t intended to be hiding in the wardrobe when you returned home."

His hands roam freely up then down along her spine drawing her in tight to his frame. "I couldn’t stay away any longer. We’ve missed you both terribly you know that.” As a breeze flows past them he can’t help but smile yet again wondering if this time they might be able to stand upon the balcony for just awhile before the hint of rain arrives. “Regina,” Robin says as his tongue slips forward to wet his lips. “Roland and I are not here to visit.” He knows those words would incite panic as well as heartbreak but they had to be said in order for something far more important to become a shared dream turned into reality. “We’ve come home. For good. If you’ll have us.”

Her hands slid into his hair, both palms cradling his cheeks as he spoke to her, her eyes darting across his face as he wet his lips and confessed that they were home to stay, if she’d have them. She felt like she was underwater, his words not quote sinking in at first. She furrowed her brows as she repeated his words in her mind once, twice, three times before her eyes widened and her lips parted in a slow smile. “You’re... For good?” She blinked as a tear broke through and one hand slid down, cradling his neck as she stepped closer and sighed a soft laugh.

“Well, you wouldn’t be able to navigate around here without us, so I guess I have to keep you now. Don’t I?” She couldn’t help but tease him, referencing their first encounter, the one that had led to their first dinner and their first date. She leaned closer then, brushing her nose against his before she opened her eyes to look into his baby blues before speaking softly, “Welcome home, Robin.”

She sealed her lips over his, giving him a long slow kiss as her arms shifted wrapping around him as she showed him how much she’d missed him, and how eager she was to welcome him home. There would, undoubtedly, be a dinner tonight, welcoming him and Roland back home to the home that she and Henry shared; and then there’d inevitably be their first night together in 3 months. She released his lips with a soft pop and kissed the tip of his nose before smiling widely at him.

A soft knock at the door pulled her attention to the door frame, and her eyes brightened at the two boys standing there, covering their eyes and trying to not observe the kisses that they knew their parents were exchanging. She slipped from Robin’s arms, silently padding over before scooping Roland up in her arms, eliciting a sharp giggle from him as she hoisted him onto her hip and tickled his stomach lightly. “You little sneaks. How long have you been planning this?” Henry uncovered his eyes and shrugged with a smile as he looked at Robin, “A while.”
