final update
jamba, my last rat, passed away on sunday of natural causes. he was 3 years and 1 month old.
i do not plan on keeping rats again because the heartbreak is too much. but i will leave this blog up to remember all of my boys and to hopefully keep making people smile. thank you for all of the support i've gotten over the years.

sadly, i had to say goodbye to our friend juice today. he had been suffering from tumors in his chest for a while, so he is in a better place now. i do not intend on adopting any more rats, so jamba will be a solo rat unless he gets depressed, in that case i'll foster. juice was truly a blessing to have in my life and i'll miss him forever. rest in peace buddy ❤️
Why is your username "evilratlair"? Why are your ratties evil? What squeakin crimes did they commit??
my original 6 rats all had evil-themed names. chaos, tartarus, beelzebub, bones, nosferatu, and hemlock. jamba and juice aren't evil names but they've committed the crime of being too cute
