One of my favorite creations! I fused a thrifted Halloween decoration with a thrifted headless Barbie, painted her, and jeweled her (and her head can turn!). Plus I got to use more vintage 1960s fabric for her fabulous pants.

I bought two skeletons last October, one cat and one rat. I was going to eventually put them on regular dolls but since I had a Skelita in my custom doll stash it, I decided to go for the rat and give it a shot.

Took me an hour using unconventional tools to create the hole but it worked and I didn’t have to deal with my loud tools. I’m going to have to figure out how to cover the massive hole in the back. For now, I’ll just take no back photos.

I love the end result regardless that the colours of the head and body are two different shades.

she’s a simple repaint, but i think she is done! meet Li Jing, a jiangshi!

i added a photo of Mother Vampire, her inspiration point, as well as the screenshot i used to emulate a seal. and yes, i am aware they do not move independently when sealed, but i think it fits she can since it wasn’t drawn 100% correct heh.

i have so many thrifted dracularas, maybe i should just keep making different vampire types. but honestly jiangshi and nosferatu are my two favourite kinds. otherwise they just present too normally human.

So I've had this Casta Fierce sitting in my parts box after I thrifted her nude with only one hand and I was kind of dreading customising her because I wanted her to be Elphaba from Wicked but I thought I would need to root in a part and replace the space left by the streaks in her hair. After customising Neighthan I realised I could pluck out the colour streaks in her hair and there would be a fully rooted hairline behind it. I also found out her hair bump is rooted in a triangle shape so there was two ways I could part her hair. I feel kind of silly I was avoiding this custom for so long simply because of the hair being a mental barrier and it turning out to be waaaay more easier than I expected. For Elphaba I took several sources of inspiration but I knew I wanted her eyes to be intense but to have a softness to it too while duping the early 2010s Mattel paint style. I'm really glad I finally got this custom done because she has been burning a hole in my project pile.
