here’s how to make custom welcome embeds with mimu for discord:

step one: creating the embed

do /embed create name:welcome (name doesn’t have to be welcome, that is a placeholder)

edit the embed to look how use like using /embed edit commands (i will make a more in-depth post explaining those)

step two: making it so it actually works

/set greet message message: optional non-embed message {embed:welcome} (again, the embed does not have to be called welcome) to make it so the embed shows up when someone joins

/set greet channel channel:(your welcome channel here) to pick the channel the embed shows up in

/test greet to test your embed

for a leave embed, just change all instances of “greet” in commands to “leave”

hey you. are the edges of your inner background image in rentry getting covered by the metadata border? change the border outset to 0px. or any other low number depending on the rentry.

saw someone on discord asking about this, so i thought i’d share this with the masses.
