no one except konstantin knows the depth of villanelle’s feelings for eve - not even eve herself. he’s the only one to witness v’s amsterdam breakdown, the one to see her panic when hired to kill eve, the one who notices that she’s begun to think of london as “home” (me ? still emo about that scene ? it’s more likely than you think), the one who watches v refuse to leave eve in rome. and then, even after villanelle shot her, he trusts eve to have v’s best interests at heart, because as he’s “dying” on the train station platform he sends eve after her. what I’m getting at here is that if konstantin vasiliev doesn’t live to see his disaster daughter in a soft, loving, disaster relationship with a certain ex-MI6 agent, I’m going to sue for emotional distress.
