Hello Wesker. Did you ever learn how to play any instruments?

Low light. Empty room. One flawless piece. That’s all that’s required.

If you're open to talk, I'm keen to learn more about your sentiments on attachment. You've told me before that Birkin's weakness was the excess of attachment. Is there a correct balance of attachment, where it can amplify strength instead of detracting from it? Did you not find even a small source of power with the combined capability of the S.T.A.R.S?

Attachment is tolerable only up to the point where it interferes with command.

Once it begins issuing orders—protect this, save that, hesitate here—it has already exceeded its threshold.

S.T.A.R.S. crossed that threshold early. They mistook loyalty for discipline.

Discipline does not require affection.

Was Birkin the only associate that you ever worked closely with? It just seems like you're trying to accomplish your endeavours as a solo act, and it might be a task for a team, rather than just one man- no matter how superhuman you are.

Do not mistake Birkin’s outcome for incompetence. He was brilliant,more so than most could tolerate. His failure was not a lack of intellect, but an excess of attachment.

A weakness I warned him against.

He earned his place beside me. That alone distinguishes him from the countless others who did not.

Loose variables.

Anything left unaccounted for has the potential to become… inconvenient.

If you're alright with me asking, what does success look like for Uroboros? It seems as though the beings the viruses took to typically end up in a somewhat...monstrous state. Are the Tyrants the end goal, or is there something more you had envisioned?

Do you really believe I’d dedicate my life’s work to producing oversized brutes?

Tyrants obey. Monsters rampage. Neither truly transcends.

Uroboros was designed to answer a single question: Who deserves to inherit the future? Most fail spectacularly.

The tragedy isn’t what they become. It’s that they ever thought they were worthy.

How would you feel if someone younger than you outsmarted you somehow? Would you be mad, impressed or somewhere in between?

I don’t know if people have already asked but

1. how do you feel about some of the S.T.A.R.S members like Barry or Rebeca?

And

2. when you Were captain of S.T.A.R.S were you even a little proud of the team you had under your command or did you just see them all as different pawns in a bigger game?

Ah… an observant question. I’ll indulge it.

On Barry Burton and Rebecca Chambers

Barry… was dependable. Predictable. A family man burdened by conscience,useful, but ultimately fragile. His loyalty was strong, which made him easy to pressure. Strength without vision is wasted potential.

Rebecca Chambers, on the other hand, was… impressive. Far younger than the others, yet intellectually sharp and remarkably composed under pressure. If circumstances had been different,if the world had been less limited,she might have been worth cultivating rather than discarding. Intelligence like that is rare.

2. On commanding S.T.A.R.S

You assume pride and utility are mutually exclusive. They are not.

S.T.A.R.S. was an exceptionally capable unit—well-trained, resilient, adaptable. Yes, they were part of a larger design. Everything is. But I would be lying if I said I felt nothing watching them perform with efficiency under impossible conditions.

Consider this:

A superior tool is still something you respect.

Did I see them as pawns? Of course.

But they were high-quality pawns.

And for a time… they were mine.

Now tell me,does that answer satisfy your curiosity? Or does it only sharpen it?
