EVOLVE IS BACK!

You heard that right! Since June 27th, the official Turtle Rock Studios has brought back the P2P servers! While that means ranked isn't available and neither is the store, you can now go into Arcade mode and play Hunt or Arena mode with people again! Matchmaking is back baby!!!

I'm so hyped! I've already played twenty matches in a row. All the characters are free to play and the perk progression system still works as well. Go out there and have fun!

Age Shenanigans

Back on my bullshit! Was reading Bucket’s wiki and listening to his Dropship convos, got to thinking about how old he really is. Lennox offhand mentions that he’s inside a forty-year old chassis. (And ship, for that matter)

And we know that his chassis was made on the day he became his own person. Cabot was still young at the time. Couldn’t have been too long into their partnership either. At least six-months worth of time, from the short story. Cabot was a newly minted Hub Marshal when he was assigned to him, and we also know from that short story that Cabot is under the age of 28.

So, 25-27, although I’m leaning more toward 27. Which means, that if it’s been almost 26 years since they were partners, Cabot is around 53. Which means that Bucket, despite us not knowing when exactly he was activated, is twenty six or close to it himself. But how can that be? His chassis is forty years old! Well, I was thinking that maybe Lennox meant the general model of it is that old, not himself!

Which leads me to the conclusion that Bucket is pretty young! Twenty-six or twenty-seven. Which would be SUPER significant. Cabot’s life was turned around at that age! Bucket’s life might be too, if we ever get a continuation on the story. What happens after the monsters? To Shear? We might never know, but I’m going to assume that it was life changing for him.

So, Cabot is about 53, Bucket is 27 (or close to it.)

More Evolve artwork! This time around featuring Valerie Wolski herself.

Val is definitely an… Interesting, character in the game. If you read the stories and dialogue, then you may see what I mean. CIG9 (The people she works with) is pretty “shady” to say the least. Though I must admit, woman’s got some guts. When first thing she literally told Cabot was that she was a spy. She is a good character though, and I think I trust her even if I’m still on conflict with CIG9. And that’s pretty much what makes Val interesting! Next one might be Cabot, Caira or Abe.

The leader himself! William Cabot! Cabot is such an interesting character. His interactions in the game, the way the other Hunters see him. I think it’s cool. This character does not care about the persons’ appearance, or even how they see themselves. See Slim for example, or Kala. Cabot is legitimately concerned about his fellow teammates, and I really like that about him! I personally enjoyed his and Bucket’s development in their story, I must say. Next one might be either Caira or Abe.

And after sooo long since my last Evolve drawing, here’s Khovalyg, better known as Crow! (I wish we got to know his and Slim’s surnames though ;_; ) Maaan, I’ve barely had any time for myself recently with OU and other shenanigans. This was a drawing I had laying around for SO long, and today I finally decided to finish it. I like Crow, he’s definitely one of my favorite Trappers! I don’t know who, or when, will be the next portrait. I don’t even know what the next drawing in general will be! Be it Evolve or anything else. Buut still! Also, I’ve been playing said game recently (Stage 2), so if you want to play some, hit me up, and hope you like this!
