Originally, I didn’t plan/want to visit ANY plantation while in Louisiana, but an educated black women insisted that we visit and absorb from one @whitneyplantation • I’ve NEVER been on a plantation before instead, I opted to visit Africa a few years ago for my ancestral connection • Since my return home, I've had the energy of New Orleans pulsating through my veins. So, please excuse me while I hold onto the spirits of my ancestors ✊🏿
