My name is Banyas. I am 30 years old. I love life deeply. I cherish my school and my students. Before the war, I had plans to plant trees in the school from my own pocket to bring joy to the students.

My school was targeted with phosphorus above the heads of the displaced. Most of my students were either martyred, injured, lost in the massacres, lost their families, lost their homes, lost parts of their bodies, or suffered from psychological trauma.

My students and I had a dream and a goal that we wanted to celebrate by the end of this year. But now, we have nothing. We have nothing. We have nothing.
