• * • in that moment it took every ounce of his self control not to hurt the girl. although it was something as small as being shoved, aritol had a bad temper and was easily angered. “i would be careful if i were you – once this party is over, theres nothing stopping me from killing you.” he said to her as he looked back at her
the blonde almost chuckled, finding amusement in his threat. it was the exact reaction she’d been hoping for. "you shouldn’t say things like that, it’s a real turn on.”
it wasn’t difficult for emelynd to determine which organization the man supported, but that didn’t deter her from approaching. when her lips parted, she spoke bluntly and made her lack of apprehension apparant, “fine– you’re blocking the door.” the blonde gestured to the archways behind him, leading to the balcony that she’d been trying to escape to. “get out of my way and i’ll move.”
• * • the man rolled his eyes slightly as he looked down at the blonde before raising a brow. “i know for a fact that there are multiple doors in and out of this room, you could have picked a different one.” aritol stated before moving out of the way slightly. he could have just given up and moved easily for her but he was annoyed that he’d been dragged outside for this, for some stupid party that he wasn’t even allowed to kill anyone at.
maybe, but i picked this one and i don’t feel like changing my mind.” emelynd countered, ready to push the man aside. she had noting against him, but the thought of getting rough with a first order lackey made her gleam. the ongoing celebration lacked any kind of excitment and she wanted someone to pull out their blaster. if that meant antagonzing everyone she passed, then so be it. she pushed passed the man, knocking shoulders with him as she did. “whoops,” the blonde rolled her eyes, clearly unapologetic.
•*• the man scoffed slighted as his arms crossed over his chest and he looked down at the man that had been bothering him. “just because we are here that doesn’t give you a right to talk to us – so i suggest walking away before i put you through a wall.” aritol said to the other before watching him walk away and another approach.
“i do not have time for friendly chats so say what you need to and move along.”
it wasn’t difficult for emelynd to determine which organization the man supported, but that didn’t deter her from approaching. when her lips parted, she spoke bluntly and made her lack of apprehension apparant, “fine-- you’re blocking the door.” the blonde gestured to the archways behind him, leading to the balcony that she’d been trying to escape to. “get out of my way and i’ll move.”
it had been years since emelynd last stepped foot on naboo, still reeling from her juvenial arrest. she expected the planet to differ from memory, but there were very few descrepencies. it made her cringe, unsatsified with the pretentious population and lack of vigor. she preferred more hostile environments, where you could drink with a man one moment and then shoot him the next. it kept her on her toes, ready to challenge herself with whatever destiny forced.
but she could already tell that tonight would be a dissapointment. stepping into the ballroom, the blonde looked for any signs of alchol, fully prepared to drink herself into hysteria. it would give her something to talk about the next morning. paying careful attention to her surroundings, emelynd cornered a cocktail server and used one of her ‘ jedi mind tricks ‘ to snag a whole bottle of bahkahta.
she stepped away from the server, feigning innocence when she passed by a group of strangers. “can you believe he gave me the whole bottle? he must have really liked my dress.”

BIOGRAPHY ;
during his time on naboo, obi wan kenobi fell into a relationship with a woman by the name of nora hullock. their union created brithann kenobi, a well-known fencer and philanthropist. before brithann could walk, however, she was abandoned by her father. fearful that the empire would ruin his family, obi wan left naboo and retreated to tatooine without a word. it left a sour taste in brithann’s mouth; she was convinced that the jedi was cruel and drained all men of love. when she came of age, brithann took comfort in arimor bradan, a senator from kuat that publically supported the empire.
after their marriage, brithann and arimor had a daughter named emelynd kenobi. she was born on kuat, but brithann was quick to relocated her family to naboo when emelynd started showing signs of being force sensitive. she encouraged her daughter to supress her abilities and lead a quiet life. emelynd was indoctrinated into her mother’s beliefs of the jedi order and led to believe that the force would try and destroy her. it kept the young girl tame for a short period, but her curiosty grew with age. emelynd began experimenting with the force behind her mother’s back and groomed her talents to the best of her abiltities.
at the age of eleven, when nora hullock finally passed, emelynd learned the identity of her grandfather through discarded letters. it made her reconsider her opinons of the jedi order and obi wan kenobi, no longer restricted to her mother’s guidance. she decided that she wanted to learn more about her family name and the talents that coeincide with it. this created tension between her and brithann and started several heavy arguments between them. the biggest of which occured on coruscant when emilynd was fifteen.
they were following arimor on a political tour when emelynd suggested that she might be interested in visiting an old jedi temple. this sparked a heated debate between her and her parents, who were now devout to the first order. emelynd stood her ground and tried to explain her connection to the light side of the force, but arimor and brithann refused to listen. she stormed out right before the capital went under fire. suddenly, the aspiring jedi was caught in the middle of a battle between the first order and the resistance.
she tried to find a way back to her parents, but they were already buried beneath the rubble when she did. emelynd blamed herself for abandoning them and became disconnected from the light side of the force. she returned to naboo alone, falling into the wrong crowd and almost getting herself arrested for carrying an unregistered blaster and starting a fire fight at a local cantina. that’s when she packed her things and decided that she didn’t want to bind herself to a single location. without a mother or father, there was no point in having a home.
emelynd traveled across the galaxy, using the force to help complete odd jobs and trick hoteliers into offering her free accomodations. she eventually ran into atom darsst and convinced the smuggler take her on board, adamant that her abilities would be useful in pulling of larger jobs. emilynd fell in love with profession and decided to continue working as a smuggler, completly abandoning her childhood fantasy of becoming a self-proclaimed jedi. the last time she expressed any interest in the order or her grandfather was on hosnian prime, when she tracked down a droid mechanic from the fallen death star.
the mechanic had come into contact with her grandfather’s lightsaber and fenced it to a low brown merchant in the undercity. emelynd tracked down the weapon and claimed it as her own, setting aside her blastar and teaching herself how to properly wield the blade. she now carries the momento with her, but is always hesitant to use it in combat, leary that people might assume her plight is similar to that of obi wan kenobi. truthfully, emelynd doesn’t know why she was insitend on finding the lightsaber, but it’s the one thing she refuses to part with.
