Things I heard/experienced last night while on a Jewish teen boat party
-3 different couples making out immediately after the lights turned off
-Learned the Footloose dance in less than 2 minutes
-Annie’s cheddar bunnies and sour cream and onion Lays as my only sustenance
-Met a girl and we became friends!!! Who said no, she’s not gay even though she cut her hair really short (and even though she looked gay to me)
-Cold and wind and going out to the bow of the ship without pants (I was wearing a dress)
-Pretending to know/dance to said shitty rap songs
-Witnessing two girls grinding on each other really intensely, my friends being like “Oh my God Wait fdalsfjdkla what is that are those two GIrlS???”
-Random guy, to his friend:“You’re Russian!!!! I Knew it!! Hey you! are you Russian??” (turning to look at me)
Me, choking up: uhhhhdmcznvjklvns (even tho I am Russian)
Random guy, under his breath: shit first time i’ve ever been wrong
-Doing Havdalah with new friend and a bunch of sweaty strangers, singing pretty songs in the dark on a boat all together
-“Man, I ubered home at 1:30 last night, and I was Fucked Up”
-Loud trap music blasting from someone’s phone, me wishing they would turn it off because it was at least 11:45 at night, and I’m trying to sleep, some asshole behind me screams “OH MY GOD TURN THE VOLUME UP I LOVE THIS SONG”
-Person 1: “FUCKING WHITE PEOPLE ARE YOU KIDDING ME”
Person 2: “DUDE YOU’RE WHITE”
-driving back in the bus at night in San Francisco and seeing all the lights and the hills
