Pizza Linthro

This AU is the crossover of Pizza Tower and Zodiac Knights(my OCverse which I'm developing and improving). So Pizza Tower characters are shaped into anthros called 'Linthro', or others called 'Linferal', 'spirit', and etc.

The Lore

Peppino Spawghetti(Linthro - Border Collie)

A middle-aged dog anthro, who works as a chef in his own pizzeria. He was a veteran during the war, but quitted it at all after the end of the war. He was bright, brave, active, and sociable, but after the war, his personality changed. A blunt, timid, tired introvert. He just runs his pizzeria by himself, with Gustavo, his company. Without using magic itself. He didn’t have any interest in magic, or didn’t like it. Because he didn’t have any good memories about it, which made others feel jealous or hate him. Besides, when he was in the war, he saw many of them used magic indiscriminately and all of them were dead. After that, he felt suspicious that it would be OK to use magic in the world. And he didn't want to boast about himself using magic in front of people, or in the public.

One day, he was warned by hearing that his pizzeria would be destroyed by the tower. As soon as he ran into the tower, he observed various magical things on each floor. While he was going through each room, he met Gerome and got a pizza-slice-shaped artifact from him. With the artifact, he used magic a little and it worked. From that moment, he changed his mind and thought a lot. He realized some magic can resolve difficulties and destroy the tower by hearing the facts from Gerome, and regained his confidence by using various magic. He started to rescue 5 spirits and collect 4 magical gems(Ruby, Amber, Tourmaline, distorted quartz) on each floor. And... when he encountered "Totino" Pizzahead, he missed something important... The gold. He remembered that Gerome said it would be easier to resolve with 4 gems and gold, but couldn't find the gold on 5th floor. Even on the rest of the floors... How will he end up this tough journey in the tower?!

Gustavo(Linthro - Capybara)

A middle-aged capybara anthro, who is a company helping Peppino's work. He already knows magic, but doesn't know how to use it yet. He often explained various magic, to encourage him to do it to make pretty better food, although Peppino didn't have any mind to try using magic.

As he entered the tower following him, he met Brick wandering on 1st floor. He thought she lost her way and tried to be friendly with her to help. He realized he could find spirits with her and help Peppino when he's in troubles.

Brick(Spirit - Sheep)

An unknown spirit(actually an angel from the heaven), a big sheep with a pair of wings. She was used to be a magic source of the tower, but she refused to be it and ran away, but couldn't escape from the tower. Thanks to Gustavo, she trusted in him, used her magic and gave a ride to him to rescue 5 spirits.

5 Spirits

(Fire-Red Squirrel, Earth-Chinchilla, Air-Dollarbird, Water-Sacabambaspis, and Light-White Weasel)

They are just like normal small animals, but have infinite magical source. They already knew the danger of 'Forbidden magic' through constructing the tower by the owner, tried to stop it. But they were captured and imprisoned by the owner. Thankfully, Peppino found and rescued them, which recognized him as a good magician and helped him use stronger magic to get through harsh troubles.

"Phil" Pepperman(Linferal - Griffin)

A red griffin(eagle's head, wings, and hands with talons, and lion's lower part of body, dark red paws and a long tail with eagle's feathers) putting on his green béret as an artist. He usually stands and walks with four legs, but sometimes stands with only 2 legs for a bit.

He was yearning for magicians and using magic like them from his past. Also he wanted to interact with other Linthros and act like them, like standing with 2 legs, using hands, or making something. Luckily, he loved creating and drawing his imagination. So he studied various subjects, mostly art. He succeeded in being an artist, but his magic ability was not perfect. He tried every time, but always failed. That made him desire perfection to be a magician. As he was trying, he met Pizzahead. He suggested that he must do an important job, by giving magic to him. So before he met Peppino, he guarded Ruby on the 1st floor, using magic freely by creating everything.

"Vigert Ebenezer Lante", the Vigilante(Linthro - Wolf)

A cowboy wolf, who is a grandson of "John E. Wolf". He is wearing a maroon cape, brown hat, brown gloves, and brown boots. And he owns his copper gun, which can shoot not only normal bullets, but also emit fire.

He doesn’t use magic at all and can’t trust it nor magicians. Because his grandfather experienced the most troubles and had explained to him how the war and oppression were mischievous due to the magic. And he said “Magic itself is dangerous. Do not use it whatsoever”. So Vigert always remembered his sayings and never used it for a long time. After he passed away, he didn’t know what he had to work without magic, although he didn’t want to use magic. As he was agonizing, Pizzahead appeared in front of him and suggested something secretly. He didn’t like his suggestion, which was related to magic. But Pizzahead lent him magic weapons to trust him, which didn’t show magic itself, but functioned much better and fought easily for him. When he was guarding an Amber on the 2nd floor, he’s getting used to the magical items.

"Theodore" Noise(Linthro - Cat)

A yellow cat with orange stripes like a tiger, wearing a yellow tights, a yellow mask, an orange cloak, an orange belt and boots, who acts as a mascot actor. He can use bombs to make pranks.

Noise wanted to use magic and had studied to use it easily, but the spells were too difficult and complicated for him to learn, so he gave up. And he deeply regretted that he stopped learning magic. He studied and tried again, but used to give up or fail every time(...). Instead, he chose to be an actor. When he practiced and performed eagerly, he was sometimes jealous of someone who could use magic while he was seeing them. As he was getting tough, Pizzahead approached him and suggested the important thing. To be a mascot(who hates Pizza) to guard the Tourmaline on the 3rd floor. He hesitated to do it, but Pizzahead gave some magic items to accept his suggestion. So he thought that his power from his costume and items were giving magic to him and was really proud. Until he met Peppino and was lost…

He was still jealous of Peppino and hated him so much because he could use his own magic rather than himself. But sometimes he wanted to study magic again from him someday… It seems like he had a mind for him. Maybe...?

Nosiette(Linthro - Rabbit)

A (normal?) pink rabbit who's wearing a pink apron dress and hot pink shoes. Her shoes are magical items to become a small pink bunny form.

One day, as she was living normally, she wanted to learn magic when she found magicians using magic. But she also felt it was difficult to use magic because the spells were too much and complicated. Although she doesn’t have the mind to use magic, she cheered Noise to use magic perfectly.(But he felt pressured on it too much…) However, she had confidence in using magic after she got a pair of shoes from Noise.(Actually Pizzahead made shoes and gave them to him) So now, she can transform into a pink bunny, or fly by using her shoes. That’s all she can do. Of course, she ran her cafe in the tower and makes (weird)food for all and Noise.

Fake Peppino(??? - Border Collie + Borzoi)

A dog clone who is same with Peppino, but looks weird. He has Peppino's DNA, Borzoi's DNA, and unknown substances and other creatures' DNAs.

He was prowling around the old Pizzeria(which the previous owner, Bruno had run) and just protecting the distorted quartz. He’s not so smart, and didn’t know what magic is either. He had no idea why he should guard the distorted quartz at first, but had an interest, protected it eagerly, and didn’t let anybody touch or take the quartz. Even if anyone tried to touch it, they wouldn’t survive… However, he felt lonely and wanted to find someone to play with. After he met Peppino and played(?) with him, he had trust in him and always followed him and lived with him. Peppino didn’t want to live with him at first, but accepted slowly and accompanied him.

Mr. Stick(Linthro - Red fox)

A red fox wearing a pair of glasses and a orange suit and a hat, with a scarlet cravate. He usually brings his money bag to put money a lot, which can store everything infinitely.

He sneaked into the tower to look at something inside out of curiosity. He tried to collect gems, magic artifacts, or expensive things, but failed with it ‘cause the dangerous magic interrupted not to get them. Then he knew that Peppino could get through it and collect more things. So he used him(?) to get points which spirits earned.

Burton(Linthro - Grizzly bear)

A big grizzly bear priest. He is peaceful and calm. He usually purifies Peppino's transforms and bad atmosphere.

Actually, he realized the tower had ‘Forbidden magic’ and an angel was trapped by Pizzahead, and entered into it slowly. He tried to find the angel, but couldn’t do it anymore because of the bad magic blocking his way. Then he found Peppino finding spirits and resolving some obstacles. He thought he would destroy the tower and rescue the angel, so he decided to help him.

Gerome(Linferal - Dragon)

Gerome is a small, short pink dragon with sulfur yellow horns, wearing blue overalls and a blue hat. He has his wings to fly.

He was not a cleaner or a worker, but he had to work in the tower after his brother, John, was captured by Pizzahead. At the same time, he was finding some gems to unseal his brother. But it was not easy to find the 4 key gems by himself. Moreover, he witnessed that most spirits were captured and used by the owner as magic resources, which made him frustrated. He found the only way when he found Peppino. He told all the truth to Peppino and gave an important artifact which is shaped in a pizza slice. And he told him that this artifact would be the key to solve everything if he found 4 gems and gold on each floor.

John(Linferal - Dragon)

John is a gigantic dark purple dragon with sulfur yellow horns, wearing an orange overalls. He also can fly with his big and wide wings.

He is a source of infinite, various magic, so he can use lots of magic. Instead, he only uses good magic to control nature or help other merciful species. He was a free, generous dragon before he was captured by Pizzahead. Due to his magic ability, Pizzahead approached him and suggested building a tower. John thought over and over, then refused his suggestion. Because he noticed he had dangerous magic and a bad atmosphere around him. Pizzahead repeated his suggestion to be accepted by him, but John refused it every time. That resulted in him being tied to chains of ‘Forbidden magic’ and sealed as a pivot of the tower. Not only that, but the chains connected to his body, absorbed magic resources from him continuously, and made some worse phenomena. As a result, the tower got stronger.

The Doise(Linthro - Otter)

An otter wearing a blue tights, a blue mask, a pink cape, and indigo boots. Also the bandages on his stomach.

He yearned for Noise and wanted to be a mascot like him. But there is one flaw. He didn’t have magic items unlike Noise. He needed them to be a real mascot, so asked for help from Peddito. Actually, Peddito caught fishes for Doise and made magic items to catch more fishes. He made costumes for him, and Doise was satisfied with it at first… but he thought he missed something. He needed weapons like bombs to mimic Noise. He asked him to make it every time as Peddito was making others and refused it. He couldn’t stand it and found ripped gloves which can use magic and made trouble. After that, he was chased and hurt by ghost Peddito. He thought himself was cursed... with Peddito.

Peddito(Linthro - Staffordshire Bull Terrier)

A dark staffy bull terrier wearing a silver chef hat and an apron. His eyes are reversed, because he is a ghost.

He was an alive Linthro until he had his plain daily life. He was a normal fisherman catching fishes, at the same time, working as a blacksmith making magic items. When Doise asked for help from him to make something, he unwillingly made it for him. And he was getting tired of listening to him and making unmeaningful items. So he decided to give up. That made Doise get upset… After he became a ghost, he chased and harmed him every time. He was still mad because Doise ruined his daily life.

Mort(Spirit - Phoenix)

A red phoenix spirit who is similar to a rooster. So he was misunderstood by farmers after he injured his wing and couldn't fly well.(Because he also noticed the danger of a tower and tried to stop, but was hurt by the owner) However, Peppino recognized he was a phoenix and cured his wing. He predicted that Peppino was a good magician to destroy the tower and decided to help him as well.

Snotty(Spirit - Tortoise)

A green tortoise spirit. His shell was dented due to the bad magic from the tower. Also, he was fallen everywhere and forgot himself and what his magic was. He just crawled on the 4th floor to remember something.

Giantface(Giant - Bull)

A gigantic bull's face floating around the air. He threatened Peppino to destroy his Pizzeria.

He was an alive giant who wanted to dominate Linthro’s world, but failed his plan and died by Linthros. However, his soul still remained and wandered around somewhere to find someone who could cooperate with to achieve his plan. Finally, he noticed that evil air came from one Linthro who touched a banned book written in ‘Forbidden magic’. He met Pizzahead, speaking in his voice to hear. Because the soul was invisible, but he spelled magic to show the soul. So thanks to him, he could move with the giant’s head like his face in the past. Until he met Peppino, he wanted the whole body if the tower was completely stronger and got limbs to move. And he wanted to try his laser magic to see that it worked well.

"Totino" Pizzahead - Linthro(Red kangaroo)

A red kangaroo wearing a white shirt, blue overalls, red and white striped shocks, and red rubber shoes. His red round nose is just attachment to be a clown. His tail is strong and thick, so that he can stand with his tail for a long time.

He wanted to be a great magician in the world and tried all magic he knew. He always succeeded and started to desire to learn other magic. He sneaked into the library’s secret room and found the old book, about ‘Forbidden magic’. When he touched and took it, he couldn’t open it well. But when he started to spell the hidden words on the book cover, the book opened by itself, emitting a bad atmosphere. At that moment, he felt excitement and joy from the energy, and that made Giantface’s soul sense the energy and met him. Pizzahead noticed there was an invisible soul talking to him. He spelled the magic to see the soul visible. So he encountered Giantface properly. He listened to his past story and his own plan and purpose he wanted to achieve desperately. After he heard all of them, he had an idea and decided to collaborate with this giant. Pizzahead made a gigantic bull’s head to remind of a giant and inserted the soul. They made a new plan to govern the whole world together, and started to build a tower, using a dragon and spirits as magic sources and spelling ‘Forbidden magic’ to steal magic sources from nature. After they finished building a tower, they decided to give it a try on how the magic laser from the tower would be powerful, and chose one target. Peppino’s Pizzeria. That's how the story of Pizza Linthro started.
