In an effort to not fall into apathy, I try not to think about what my life has become. Just three years ago I was living the life that I prayed and dreamt of and I did it all on my own. Now, I have so many obligations and people that depend on me. I feel like a bird that got its wings clipped prematurely.

I try to do things that give me a sense of freedom but once you have tasted the sun, seeing it through a window doesn’t feel the same. I do not believe in going back so I hope the next iteration is even greater. I miss feeling weightless.
