okay so i got like, three books delivered this week, and in anticipation i reread another book that i had, and lads, let me tell ye, it was like quicksand. so now i have a list, some from my head, many from my wonderful friends’ heads, of prompts that basically made us all very soft or very “pleasantly scandalized rich lady from the sixties who just found out a juicy bit of goss about the new neighbor”. i hope ye like them! (DO NOT ADD TO THE LIST. I WILL MAKE A PART TWO. AND THREE. AND FOUR. MANY MANY PARTS. EVENTUALLY. )

[ HAIR ]:          sender slowly reaches out to catch a loose strand of the receiver’s hair and tuck it gently and securely back behind their ear, letting their touch linger afterwards. (if the receiver has short hair, then the sender reaches out and gently runs their fingers through their hair to smooth it back.)

[ CLOSE ]:          while standing remarkably close to one another, the sender is unable to stop themselves from running their gaze across the receiver’s body, lingering for a moment on their lips, before returning to initiate prolonged, intense eye contact.

Through the grapes of vines he had overheard that the star shine ship had arrived. He could have gone home after work and treated himself to a glass of wine, but curiosity get the best of him. And well he was a sucker for the possibilities of anything that seem chaotic. He had looked at the list of locations and things to do and surprisingly he caught interest with cloud fishing and learning how to weave night sky silk. After getting done with his errands locking up the tattoo shop he decided to walk there. Arching a brow with such huge confusion of who the heck was screaming their lungs out at this time. Suddenly colliding against him, “What the hec-” Before he could even utter another word he was pulled into a motel. 

“What in the world are you--” blinking when suddenly seeing a finger hushing him from speaking another word. Surprisingly he listened but oh he couldn’t help but wonder what did this stranger in front of him get himself into as he overheard the footsteps. With that pretty face of his pretty sure Spencer was not the type of person that was drawn to trouble. But oh he could be wrong. After all never judge a book by it’s cover. It took him a moment to realize they were at a cheap love motel letting out a smirk. Leaning his back against the wall, “Really? And so what is it? It’s very bold of you I admit Spencer.” The two knew each other way back. Didn’t talk much since at the time Doyoung was busy with his warlock coven but he heard a thing or two about Spencer. 

He could overhear the footsteps going door to door each of the motels. Starting from bottom and they were on their way up soon enough. The walls were thin and he could hear the people complaining. “They are still here, whoever they are. So tell me pretty face--” he tilted the reaper’s chin up. “Want me to help?”

[ BEHIND ]:         upon entering the same room as the receiver, the sender steps behind them, and winds their arms around the receiver’s waist, drawing them close against them.

[ WAIT ]:          realizing the receiver is about to leave the room, the sender hastily reaches out and catches their wrist, preventing them from continuing their departure.

[ ARM ]:          after holding their hand, the sender releases the receiver, but slowly glides their hand up the full length of their arm, lingering on the upper arm, then the shoulder, then resting their touch against the side of their neck.

[ HOLD ]:          while close to the receiver, the sender wordlessly takes a hold of their hand, for no other purpose than to be holding it.

[ PLAY ]:          while sitting together, the sender absently lifts the receiver’s hand, idly running their fingertips across the lines of their palms, mapping out every inch of their hand with slow, lazy touches.

[ GUIDE ]:          in the process of guiding the receiver through a crowded place, the sender’s hand protectively grazes against the small of their back

[ TOUCH ]:          while touching the receiver’s waist, the sender’s hand briefly dips beneath the hem of their shirt, skimming briefly across the bare skin of their waist.

[ CUP ]:           bringing both hands up to cup the receiver’s face, the sender draws them in closer to them in order to get a better look at their face.

[ TUG ]:          the sender tugs the receiver close against them by resting a hand against the small of their back, pulling them flush against their body.

[ HUSH ]:          while standing close to one another and hiding from pursuers, the sender reaches up and places a finger against the receiver’s lips to prevent them from speaking and revealing their location.

It was that time for the holidays. To get into the Christmas spirit Doyoung was invited to a Christmas party. Everyone dressed up in dresses and suits, having Christmas music played in the background. And oh Doyoung could be a grump when it came to the holiday season, but he couldn't help but chuckle when seeing the terrible sight of spin the bottle. A classic, and a bit cringy. "Nah I'm good guys, continue playing, gonna fetch myself another glass of champagne." Doyoung was all dressed up in a burgundy suit hair slick back reaching for one of the glasses taking a sip out of it. His eyes wandered around until-- he paused catching glances at a familiar figure.

"Well he surely has a way of catching someone's or many eyes I should say." he grabbed another glass. Walking up towards the other he handed Seira a glass of champagne. "Didn't know you were invited here Seira. Was starting to wonder if i was imagining things-- Lift up your chin for me." Without giving any context he set his glass down fixing Seira's necktie. "You surely have a way to catch many people's eyes even mine." he chuckled smoothly fixing the other's tie. "There." he took a step back reaching for his drink, "Happy Holiday's shorty." Although Seira was taller than Doyoung but we all know how Doyoung is.

It’s been years, how many Shiloh couldn’t clearly remember. But he remembered that day, and he could still decipher the young child that was now a young man. His eyes, somehow, stayed the same‒ there was still that fire burning inside of them. Back then he didn’t think much about the matter, it was a situation he’s been in more times than he could count, and he’s seen much sorrow and tears. Those couldn’t faze him any longer. 

Yet what struck him that day was the person, their nature, their powers. Shiloh wasn’t going to accompany her in her journey in the afterlife, but he knew the Creator wouldn’t allow her to pass quite so easily. It was one of the few occasions when he put his powers to use without being asked to, sparing her the agony They reserved for the wicked and those who mingled with the Dark. 

“You’re Doyoung, right?” Shiloh asked as he stood in front of the warlock inside their building. What an unexpected encounter it was. The angel didn’t think the other would remember him, as it was very probable the child didn’t even notice him back them. Many didn’t, at least when it came to humans. But Doyoung wasn’t one, so maybe he did. “Well, this is unexpected. You’ve grown up since the last time I saw you.”

It was a day he simply could have never forgotten. Kept buried within the back of his mind hoping that his mom had moved on peacefully within the after life, without having to suffer the consequences with mingling with a warlock. But on that day there was one thing that did indeed confuse him. A figure that stayed right beside his mother. He had maybe thought it was just his imagination playing the best of him, and so he didn’t think much of it.  But oh he was curious of the being who had wings was simply just his creative imagination.

Not until he had bumped into the familiar figure once more. He looked at his own glass of water looking back at the angel, “You didn’t put something in this drink did you?” The warlock truly believed he was imagining things, and he wasn’t so sure if he should take a step back as the stranger uttered his name. In that moment he had pondered should he throw this glass at water towards Shiloh and make a run for it. 

But he didn’t, not yet at least. 

“Well it’s obvious I am no kid. But call me crazy why does it seem like I know you?” he asked setting the glass of water taking a step forward looking at Shiloh head to toe. “We’re you one of those kids I used to pick on whenever they would cause trouble? Those arrogant angels that think they know everything?” But no it didn’t seem like it. None of those kids would be this good looking. 

Even though warlocks were know to be ruthless for some reason his conscious, a part of his humanity had told him to be kind. “You know I’m usually not nice to people but for some reason, my conscious is telling me to choose my words wisely with you. Can you explain why?”

Hoecus Pokeus || Doyoung & Joohyun

The enchanted doll picked up a branch from outside, she was on her daily walk under the sun. She very much needed it after being held up in the classroom for longer than she would like. While she loved learning from her teachers, sitting in a chair for hours while the sun shone so beautifully in the sky was pure torture. 

After the bell rang she all but ran outside ready to not feel a thing on her skin but the reflective light of the sun on her porcelain skin. That’s how she got outside in the middle of the day, what she wasn’t sure of was how she got to the woods. She liked to walk without direction exploring more and more every day. With a tree branch in her hand, she waved it around with a soft giggle leaving her lips. 

“Abracadabra! I wish for…wait can I wish a grant it myself?” She mumbled to herself. Not that it mattered, she knew she didn’t even have powers but she still loved to pretend. 

“I wish fo-” She whipped around at the sound of rustling nearby “Halt who goes there?!” She yelled out holding up the branch like a wand as if it would actually help her. 

“I’ll make you disappear!”

Doyoung had decided to take a night stroll after work. Tiredly stretching his arms as he placed his ear buds in venturing. He had no clue where he was going but it was fun that way. To venture in no direction. And as he wandered he paused as a heard a voice. Being the nosey person that he is he leaned against the tree amused by the sight. Chuckling softly, “No worries, not here to cause trouble just wondered what kind of spell you were casting.” 

“You look familiar wait--- Aren’t you a customer I’ve done a piercing before?” he asked. The first time and only time he had learned to pierce and enchanted doll. Taking off his ear buds he placed it in his pocket, “So tell me,” he picked up a rock gently throwing it into the pond having it skip a couple times before dipping into the water. “What were you planning to wish for Irene? Irene is your name right?”

One thing happen to another and now the two were stranded in a forest. Doyoung car out of no where decided to stop working having smoke appear.  The two were not stranded in the middle of who knows anywhere. Both of their phones were dead. “We’ll figure out something. Alright babe?” he uttered reassuringly. The forest was rather..creepy. Spiders creeper crawlers among the tall trees, but luckily it was still day light out. Enough time for the two to seek shelter and warmth.”I’m sure someone will find us. Maybe your friend Louis will think it’s strange not hearing from you? Or Kayl wondering where the heck I am.” He uttered nothing but reassurance running his fingers through Ethirdil hair. 

What’s the worse that could happen? “Let’s go find some shelter and wood before it get’s dark out?” Luckily there was two little blankets in his car that he had left from previous events. And so he took it along with them. Mud and vines everywhere. Walking down the shaky trail he began to pick up some wood, “How are you holding up babe? Find any wood?” he asked as he looked over to make sure his boyfriend was doing alright. 

Hopefully neither the two step on poison ivy. Or pinecone. Doyoung was deadly allergic to pinecones. His familiar was actually with Kayl so it was just the two. Can the two survive until they are saved? Or somehow manage to get back home?

Ethirdil was in a bad mood. He didn’t like camping and he hated this even more. Why were they out here and how had his luck let this happen? He was sure that the car had it out for him personally since he had whispered that it was a piece of shit to it earlier. Who knew cars could be wrathful? He huffed at the car. “Louis? He will just be fucking one of his three boyfriends or all at the same time.” Ethirdil said, pouting at the unfair treatment that the universe gave him. “Who is Ka— oh kale. yes.”

Ethirdil sighed. “Why can’t we stay in the car?” he asked and frowned as the other was busy with finding a way through the vines. Ethirdil, being an elf, light on his feet just jumped from stump to vine. Not wanting to touch the dirty ground. “Wood? I want to find your wood.” he commented and winked before picking up a few twigs and offering it to Doyoung.

“You’re a wizard, go do… magic things. I can’t make fire but…” he tried his pathfinding magic and… returned to the car. He wanted to go to the car and not find stupid wood. “Wait for me-” He muttered as he went back to the trail to find Doyoung, with a few twigs in his hand. “Where are you even going?” he asked upset as they seemed to go deeper into the forest.

Oh how did the two get into this. So strange, Doyoung’s car never acted like and the fact it broke down out of no where. Was it his bad luck that caused the problem?  At least he was hoping for the best that one of their friends would realize right? “We’ll figure out something babe. But for now we can’t stay here-- it’ll get dark soon.” The sooner they find shelter the better. Slowly picking up branches holding it onto his arms, the dirty comment of wanting to find his wood caused Doyoung to chuckle rolling his eyes playfully. “Oh really? I’m quite surprised.” 

“A wizard can only do so much babe. Magic won’t be able to solve everything. So the best we thing we can do now is find shelter and make a fire before it gets dark.” he uttered as he gathered a group of sticks within his arms. Things didn’t work out as planned but waiting for there car to get towed or to even get noticed of their disappearance, how long will will that take? As they went deeper into the forest he paused turning around, reaching for Ethirdil’s hand. “Trust me in this one, we have to find shelter before it gets dark. We’ll figure out something once we find shelter..”

And so as the two went deep into the woods they finally came across a cave. It didn’t look..rather pleasent it was something. The sky was covered with grey clouds, “Looks like it’ll rain soon---” seeing a snake crawl he quickly pulled Ethirdil towards him.
