Writing an essay on a still undecided topic centring around 19th century Ottoman Empire is a fun challenge because I know next to nothing about that area of history and I need to do a lot more reading than I would if I was reading about European history, because I have been learning about that my whole life whereas this is a completely new territory.

Why do the young poets  all write about Persephone?

Recently I decided to start a diary and bought a nice copy book with an image of Ismailiyya, one of the most beautiful buildings - symbols of Baku. Ismailiyya is unsual architecture for Baku built in 1908-1913 in Venetian-Gothic style.
